This is too good to be true! I have always dreamed of the day that someone would write a story about Silent Bob finding Amy. I love both Jay and Silent Bob to death. To be honest with you, I am a Jay/Silent Bob shipper, but this is actually the first story that I like that has Silent Bob ending up with a girl. I love this so much. And, something in the back of my head, has always told me that Silent Bob was straight...and I, of course, think that Jay is the homosexual. There's alot of hints in the movies...anyway, back to your Fic. You must continue this! You have to! This is going on my Favorite Stories list. I love this so much. You MUST continue! I can tell you this, I'll surely read the next thing you write.

Nope, I'm not dead. With graduating from college and trying to find a job, my free time has been little to none until now. I'll try to get Chapter Three up as soon as possible.

Very very sweet story - read chapter one a while back and am glad to find a chapter two! I especially like your take on Metatron, feels very true to the original and very funny, I can totally hear his voice. Would love to see more of how Bob and Jay interacted during Bob's relationship with Amy, and am interested to see how Jay reacts to Amy's return. Can you tell, I'm fixated on Jay :) Looking forward to chapter three!

Sorry, but Chapter 3 is going to be delayed for a bit. Lots of school work and such have kept me extremely busy as of late. I'll try my hardest to get it done reasonably soon.

John Daily: The reason I decided to end their relationship that way was because in that same speech Bob talks as if he and Amy were having a last conversation. For example, he says he called her slut and that he was out to hurt her and that she was being calm and rational about it. The one line that convinced me it was ended at one sitting is when Bob said "That's when I looked her straight in the eyes and said 'It's over!', and I walked." I personally would have liked to have ended it more smoothly over time, but I feel I need to try to keep as close to Smith's created storyline as much as possible. By the way, I'm extremely flattered to be your first favorite story. Thanks!

Very interesting premise, and well written. I'm having a bit of trouble immersing myself in the story due to the present tense, but I understand why you're using it. The only criticism I have so far is the abrupt ending of Bob and Amy's relationship. Given Bob's speech in Chasing Amy ("...by the time I figured this all out, it was too late; she moved on."), I think he kind of drifted away from her, as opposed to him telling her flat out goodbye (I could see it being the other way around, though). Other than that, this is excellent, and it's become my first "Favorite Story" on my author page. I'm looking forward to the next chapter!
