Darn, I'm behind. Akemi, Akemi, Akemi. Gosh that women is evil. I don't know which would be more eviler, Tezcatlipoca or her. Anywho, she's definitely bent on getting Xena back, and torturing Gabrielle, thru her sister Lila. But little does she know that Gabrielle is going to have help from Huitzilopochtli and his fellow mexica gods. I think him apoligizing for what he had done to Gabrielle will help heal a lot of pain Gabrielle felt at betraying Xena. I hope that Gabrielle ponders how truly lucky she is, just to be alive and have him apologize. :D

Nice description between Gabrielle and Xena. Great that they are working things through and ironic that their situation is reversed. Looks like Lila will be a main factor in the story and that alliances are being formed...

Nice to see that the gods are rallying and soon will change Mexica, or at least try to change it. It will be interesting to see where this goes and how the battle that is brewing pans out.

Also, Great job with the emotions here. Xena got a little 'gooey' but not too bad, it was necessary. It's nice to see some real healing going on between X&G. They have been through so much, and usually the story ends when ever the conflict is over, one doesn't get to see their inner struggles so much.

Thanks for sharing this tale, no matter how long it gets.. I say go for it ;)

I cringe at the fact at not only Akemi wants revenge against Gabrielle, but this evil Itzpapalotl. It's sad that Akemi was used and probably beaten by her father, and Xena only fanned the flames of that hate and pain. But knowing Akemi has the power of Cthulon makes them both more dangerous than ever. Ehecatl seems to have some type of feelings for Akemi, but you wonder if he's not as sick as she is. I wonder now when Xena and Gabrielle find out that Akemi is still alive and after Lila, what powers will they fight her with, with the pendent dangling as a threat? Lila has some very strong people in her corner,but will it be enough? :D

The cat's out the bag, now that Gabrielle knows.
Xena has been so sweet and understanding to Gabrielle, no wonder she is confused. hopefully a fresh start from them.
Ehecatl and Akemi appear perfect for each other. I love her obsessiveness with Xena, I am sure it will end in tears...
I love how different things appear to be happening because of the ripples. time travel is dangerous-not that Akemi cares!- and it'll be interesting to see exactly what comes out of it.

I think Gabrielle remembering also has allowed her to see how Xena has really changed on how she treats her and how much she's willing to open up to Gabrielle. I think the memories of who she was is going to be very raw right now and Gabrielle now knows that with time, it will serve her for the fight thats ahead to save Lila. Akemi and her now non bony mate. Ew. :D

I have enjoyed this story all the way from the 1st chapter. It's so creative to put Xena and Gabrielle is such a different world and to introduce so many different elements. I love the play with power with the switch up in the traditional roles that X & G play. Very nice chapter, love how caring and understand Xena can be, without losing her 'edge' and being coming a pile of goo.

Gabrielle seems to be on overload, now that she's seen and felt what Huitzilopochtli has done to her. It seems that Gabrielle feels she has betrayed Xena in the worst possible way, and can't fathom hurting her. I think she has accepted somewhat that she was the Blood Jaguar, but now that her memories were returning in full force. Will Gabrielle be able to handle the reality of who and what she was, and what happened to her after she died. Xena will be there as she's needed, but convincing Gabrielle that she hasn't betrayed her is going to take some time. :D

Well as usual, Akemi is enjoying her mayhem of caos and doom. She is so hell bent on wanting Xena back and triumphing Gabrielle, she is drunk with evil power, not knowing she is unleashing something so terrible that most of the Mexica gods tremble at knowing it's existence. There are so many powers at play,and the undead are about to change into living lost souls. I just hope that Gabrielle and Xena are prepared at what's about to come at them. It's enough that Gabrielle is still coming to terms with her memory, and the after effects of her Juguar days have produced some of this ciaos. :D

Nice chapter. Gabrielle won't be kept in the dark for too long-will be very interesting to see how she reacts when she hears the truth.
Interesting theory that Lila may be having an effect on the un-dead.

Very very sweet between Tlaloc and Amoxtli. Again another story that mirrors Gabrielle's and Xena's in that one of them didn't feel worthy for love. Wonder if we will see some fighting as the warriors head off to face Gabrielle. I imagine Xena will have something to say about that!

Really nice between Gabrielle and Itzali. Who would have thought that? How they have changed towards each other, but it has been done subtly and realistically rather than too quickly.

I do like the story between the two Gods, it so mirrors, Xena and Gabrielle. Glad that they are back together and happy and it was lovely finding how they met.

So more people out to get Gabrielle. The 12 warriors. Originally it seemed Gabrielle was just cruel killing them but it appears they were a 'bad lot', so there is more to it than meets the eye.
