| Sarah 2008-04-20 ch 4, anon. | abuseHi...i think I can help you with your french and translate it for you. ‘Your hair is beautiful, Mon petit copain doux.’ - (literally) My little friend soft. What I think you meant was friend in a romantic way which would be "Mon petite amie doueuse" Which is the feminine version. If you meant in a friendly manner it would be "Ma petite copaine doueuse" becuase of she is a female. ‘Vous n'allez pas idiots, mon amour.’ - Should be "Vous n'allez pas folle, mon amour." which means "You are not going crazy, my love" ‘Le merci, il sent comme vous.’ - Should be "Merci, il sent comme vous" (basically drop the "le") it means it smells like you. “I will try to remember, mon amour.”- mon amour is my love (a/n: Mon frère est impoli à moi.) - My brother is being impolite/mean to me ‘Vous êtes extrêmement beaux, comment pourrais-je résister?’ - Should read "Vous êtes extrêmement belle, comment pourrais-je résister?" which means "You are extremely beautiful, how can I resist?" By the way, I love the story so far. I can't wait to read more. ~S |
