Aninteresting take. The only thing that troubles me is that Wickham dies. While I don not know anyone who wanted that man alive, it has been my experience that the more of a nuisance someone is, the more likely they are to stick around!

Very interesting and nicely done. I like Lydia's mixture of naivety and cunning, but like Becky Sharpe, she does quite nicely in the end. I'm impressed by the reference to Sun Tzu.

I like this new approach. I wonder that no one ever thought of it before.

This is so good... I see what you mean about Lydia. I love this portrayal of her! Update soon! I wish this wasn't only 6 chapters. But I can see how it wouldn't fit with the point to carry it out longer. I love how you portrayed Darcy looking at Lydia like that :)

My friend known as magewhisperer here just tipped me off about this great story. I read it and I loved it. I'm adding it to my community (C2) of Mary, Kitty, and Lydia Bennet fanfics. Another friend is the owner but she never logs in any more so I've basically taken it over. The C2 is called "The silliest girls in all England" (because that is what Mr. Bennet calls them, silly or not) and I hope you check your story out there!

Also, if you like Lydia fics (you portrayed her pretty well here- I like it ), I've written two: One is titled "Sweet Sixteen" and is about her actually running away with Wickham. The second is called "Seventeen Going on Eighteen" where after two years of marriage with Wickham, Lydia has to deal with the consequences. I hope you check them out! (shamless plugging, lol)

lol... nice job. i'm going to recommend this story to my friend lady mage... she has a community for lydia bennet fics. she wrote a really good one too, although it's not far along yet. great job though, can't wait to read more.
