The Atlantis Stargate may be the original, but the other Stargates on Earth were placed there by the Goa'ould (how do you spell that?) AFTER they flew there by 'conventional' means. But you have me slightly confused...it seems there are two important peices of informations you've forgotten. 1.)The Russians have a Stargate too. 2.)The first Stargate on earth would have been in Atlantis, not simply buried, and most certainly not with a Jaffa (yes, it IS two 'f's, and not one). By the way, are you changing the Ancients? Because by saying that the Stargates are capable of going anywhere, whereas all other known forms of transportation are limited, would that not mean that the Ancients are more than simply advanced? I suppose you could make it so that the Ancients had access to the knowledge of the Ascended, but as far as I know that simply isn't true. Always remember that this is a fanfic, and that means free usage of the term "artistic license". |
