Wow. Emotional to the last. Everything's fine, looking up, and then pow-the ending was so unsentimental it was legendary. I'm staying up way longer then is healthy to read the next chapter of this story.

I'm adding you guys/gals to my favorite author list. Y'know, you all don't get enough reviews for this series. I've seen very few Buffy-verse fics as descriptive, vivid and powerful as yours. "The Trick Chronicles" comes to mind. "Pheonix Burning" is another. I try to emulate this style in my own writing (less successfully, IMO). I do hope you can get a new part out soon.

On to the story. The trio you've thrown together here is very entertaining, as are their interactions. Personally, I prefer rotating POV stories, but you make things work just fine with just Doyle POV. The ways you've included Kate, Spike, Darla and other familiar faces is also very well done, and you wrote them all superbly. I look forward to more cameos in the future.
