LadyLady 2008-09-06 ch 4,	abuseIs it horrible I'm 1/2 expecting Token to be the culprit? Because I like Token. I don't want him to be a rapist. This is such an interesting done rape fic. Most rape fics are immature, written by people who just don't understand that no - rape isn't sexy and it's a life shattering experience. I really do like this piece, and all of your others but the mystery in this one intrigues me. Or I guess you could call it mysteries. Why is Cartman being so gosh darn friendly (well, you hinted at it strongly)? What's the matter with Craig? (I'm thinking failed suicide attempt...but I'm an angst whore so ignore that!) and Who raped Kyle? Thank you so much for writing this piece, and I hope that you'll update at the next available time.

Lady Azura 2008-07-08 ch 4,	abuseWow. Just... wow. This is an amazing fic so far. Very intriguing. Really intense. I love Kenny's portrayal in it. Even Cartman's - it's nice to know he has a heart, but he's still in-character enough to be Cartman. Like, the whole ordeal shook him up enough to make him be even the TINIEST bit nicer to Kyle (i.e - the headphone thing comes to mind), but he still rips on him, even though they're not AS bad of insults as they COULD be. And even if he's doing it for his own benefit... at least he's trying. You know? Seriously, though, you HAVE to update soon. I'll simply die if you don't! This fic really has me on the edge of my seat, and I'm not sure who to suspet and who to write off. I mean, it's usually the last person you'd think of, so... who knows? Update soon, though! Please!
Loca Bambina 2008-06-30 ch 4,	abuseAhh, poor Kyle! D: The bus ride conversation is incredible. What's usually one of the most cliche, boring scenes in a story... you've taken it to a whole new level. The football metaphor? Brilliant. Freaking brilliant. Kenny's reluctance to accuse is perfectly IC, as is Craig. He's indifferent as usual, but the car crash layer adds a new dimension to his character. I like how you've dragged the more minor characters in - Terrance, Bradley, etc. (ah, this review's so out-of-order...) Anyway. Time to beg for more? Really, this is one of the most intriguing stories I've read in a long time, and you've written it flawlessly, as usual. I'm really looking forward to an update. :D

Stan and Kyle's reactions when they found out Cartman knew were spot-on, and the emotion is amazing. The story's incredibly engaging - it feels like a murder mystery, but lighter. Kenny as narrator was a great choice; he gives the whole piece an air of familiarity despite the terror of the situation. I like it. :)

I can't even begin to guess who it might've been - Cartman's my best guess, but I know you'll surprise us. I love the way you describe Kenny and Butters's relationship - opposite sides of the same coin is the perfect way to put it. And Cartman... wow. He's compassionate, but he's still the same old asshole. That takes skill. Major skill. :D

One of the best first-person fics I've read in a while - it's not stilted or anything, the words just flow. And the emotion, wow. First chapter and you've already got me biting my nails. (damn, I need to stop doing that.) I need to read more. So I will. :)

I'm dying to know who raped Kyle (those bastards), so please continue. :)
Janus 2008-06-14 ch 4, anon.	abuseAHH!! I loved this one, can't believe I've skipped it a few times. Really just an amazing 'Who dun it?' mystery fic. As always your writing is entertaining and thought provoking. I have a couple theories in my head, if it wasn't Cartman then it was probably one of the boys in Craig's car crash (Craig is still a suspect). I go back to the car crash, because I think something was up that was connected to the party that caused an argument perhaps leading to the crash. The whole thing when Wendy got upset and started talking to Token outside is making me very curious. I am sleepy now, your story had me up late!!

PrettyLilJewGirl 2008-06-07 ch 2,	abuseOkay, so basically I was re-reading this fic, because it's just so awesome, and I had to leave another review, but I already reviewed chaps 3 and 4... so I'm leaving this review for chapter two. Okay. The convo between Cartman and Stan in chap 3? THAT IS BRILLIANT. I only just got the meaning behind it- first time I read the fic, I was like half asleep- and WOW. Giants and Broncos- home turf and away team- holy shizzle! I LOVE when authors do that! There's so much hidden meanings... AH! I really, really hope you update this soon, or I just may die. Oh, and I'm also waiting for the next chapter of Lex Talionis. Pretty please? FOR ME?

I’ve reread these four chapters multiple times since my first reading a couple of weeks ago, and I just couldn’t stop myself this time: I had to give you a proper review to let you know just how much I love this story so far. I just hope my longwinded review doesn’t get eaten up by ’s server! So, first off, your introductory scene to this story is, by far, one of the best I’ve read in a fanfic. It starts off in a straight-to-the-point sort of way, but in Kenny’s POV, it drew me in so quickly that I was instantly intrigued with the way Kenny thought. He has such a great wit in your story, and it shows in the first chapter from the “Poundin’ Butts” pseudonym to his game with Kyle in counting how many times Stan repeated his nervous comments. Your Kenny is so sweet, compassionate and utterly introspective. You write Kenny in a way I’ve never seen before, not only in this fic, but in all your fics, and I think it’s really affected the way I view his character when he is in his teen years. His fascination with Stan and Kyle’s relationship is, to me, very realistic, because as you proved in his rant to Stan about having grown up with parents in loveless marriage, seeing two people so affectionate and loyal to each other is really something unique to him. It works with his personality here and serves as a wonderful reasoning for his dedication in untangling the mystery. The extent in which he cares about Kyle and Stan being together is just… guh. Lovely, really and truly. Guh, and your plot… Your plot, your plot, your plot. Usually I am a fan of South Park fics that seem identical to the show in twisted humor and absurd situations, but the realism in this fic is so extraordinary that I find myself loving this story in a way I never thought I could love a SP fic. The strain between Stan and Kyle is killing me, but at the same time, I really admire seeing a fic that works through their problems while they’re still (technically) a couple, rather than a fic that spends 90 percent of the time working towards getting the two together. I would much rather see them facing problems than them denying their feelings for each other before they are even a couple. The entire rape situation has my heart aching for both Kyle and Stan and everyone involved. All the characters you have included in this fic are written so perfectly. They really are. Craig, who I love and adore in the series, retains his cold demeanor while still managing to have quirks of his own. Kenny’s observations of him changing briefly—a narrow of the eyes, a relaxation of his usually stiff body—makes Craig’s involvement in this story very intriguing. But I cannot say I am actually suspicious of him. The way Craig reacted when mentioning how Tweek assisted him in the crash by using his sweater makes me think he is only hiding something about his relationship with Tweek and the crash, not necessarily the rape. Okay, so I admit it, I am trying desperately to figure out who committed the crime, and during my third reading this fic, I think I finally managed to narrow down my own suspects. I must say, I am incredibly suspicious of Cartman, more than anyone else, really. His “concern” for Kyle is troubling to me, and the conversation between Stan and him on the bus really was my deciding factor of how much suspicion I have of him. It’s clear to me that when discussing football they were really discussing who would “win” in helping Kyle through his situation, and when decoding Cartman’s words in that possible scenario, I sort get the shivers. Later on, I can see his words meaning more than what they seem, and it just disturbs me even further. His “I guess that makes you my alibi” comment to Stan originally made me think he was in the clear, but being that Cartman is a twisted being, I can easily see him messing with all three of them (Kyle, Stan, Kenny) by attempting to prove he is Kyle’s ally when, really, he may just have had something to do with the rape. GAH! My head is killing me as I try to decode everything in this story. Thus, you just HAVE TO update! This story is remarkable, and there’s so much more I would love to say, but it’s so hard to coordinate my thoughts when there are so many of them. Honestly, I cannot wait for an update. I hope one is in the near future. You are off to a beautiful, perfect start here, and I just know the further the story goes, the more intriguing it is going to be to me. swoons

I totally love Eric's characterization, btw... for some reason, it strikes me as really IC. We all know Cartman has feelings on the inside! So anyway... this is an awesome fic. faves Must continue reading! It's written so well! I really, really like your style. Your writing is so clear and easy to understand, but it's really descriptive and masterfully put together at the same time. Sorry for the sappy review.. but you deserved it for writing a fic that isn't total shit! BTW- is CartmanxKyle the twisted pairing? Or is it KylexRapist?? Or are those one and the same? Or am I just a delusional dreamy fangirl making reatarded assumptions?
