LoL, yes, romance does get in the way of serious academic studies! This was cute. I do wonder if the person who was 'the youngest State Alchemist ever' before Ed...was Roy. It seems to fit.

Bahaha, I like that :D I can imagine Roy being the observer for quite a while in his life. It seems hard to imagine a child able to form words perfectly without having spoken before, but just as he studies better in private, I can see him practicing his words and sounds when everyone else went to sleep :P
