I LOVED the last stanza! Best poem ever!

This'd be long, so I'd just quote my favourite stanzas.

"Holding hands with sharp nails

Kissing with bared teeth,

Love’s farther away than the answer

And neither is what can be reached."

"One choice could be happiness,

Holding onto love so strong,

Or should it be the rest of the world,

Forever knowing it wasn’t wrong."

"He chose the course without love,

Without the dangerous, lying eyes,

To him, tasting the forbidden fruit of love,

Wasn’t worth loosing his paradise."

I just have to comment on that last bit.

I absolutely loved it. It was a beautiful ending - figuratively. It was like reading something that was meant to be Heaven, but it went directly to a magnificent, shadow-cast Hell.

Great poems like this one simply drown in the mass of fanfictions.

But you really have talent. Your words are incredibly touching, and you describe everything very well. Just awesome.

My favorite bit of this had to be the whole stanza

Reminds me a bit of what their relationship would have been liked had the anime/manga gone in that direction. Both were desperate to find each other and prove something. So in a sense, they could find neither love or answers with each other. :D

i loved it. I respect anyone that can wright good poetry. The last stanza almost made me cry.

However the poem was gorgeous. The last stanza...*shivers*

Wow. I mean... wow. Even without the title it would be obvious to see it was Death Note (maybe it was the part about writing). This was amazing... and made me upset over L's death all over again.

One thing i found confusing was the use of the word (or name? 'Light' in the first stanza. I couldn't figure out if it was the person or actually radiated light.

I loved it! The last four lines were excellent, my favorite, I think. It wasn't OOC at all, it was very intense.

That was really good! Personally, if I was Light/Raito I would've L but meh! Fangirl percpective. Poor Raito became so corrupted at the end of the series...
