NDcountry10 2008-05-21 ch 1,	abuseWow, this is really beautiful. I especially like how well you have captured the concept of "Catholic guilt". Being Catholic myself, I agree that the hardest part about confession is not the actual confessing of sins or worrying whether or not you are truly forgiven but rather knowing that you are receiving grace and are committing yourself to increase your efforts to avoid that sin in the future. This is definitely the way I see Booth. I believe his faith and his desire to do what is morally right coupled with his job and devotion to justice make him an extremely conflicted man. He is an amazing character and you have done a phenomenal job portraying him.

fanofbones 2008-02-26 ch 1,	abuseI'm not very good with big words, but this, my first read tonight, was so good I'm afraid to read anything else because it would fail in comparison to the sheer beauty of this one. Crap, that was a mouthful. I started reading and had to slow down so I could take in and understand every word, every line. OMG, it was tugging at the heartstrings. So many deep, extraordinary lines, too many to list. Some beautiful ones for you... ~Their lists...my heart is sad but I enjoyed the similarities... ~he doesn't look in the mirror to fix it. Looking would mean seeing. powerful ~the afghan...so tender and sweet ~Never a question of if, only when. Weeks, months, years unravel. The translucence of her skin and the cut crystal of her eyes are the sun-nearly blinding him with their brilliance. (That was hands down the most beautiful line I have ever read) He tries not to look, tries to delay the inevitable. Still, he's weak-a creature of flesh and bone-and one day, he'll succumb. He waits. Booth is willing to die. For his country. For a stranger. For her. But he's unwilling to do it without having known the comfort of blindness. He yearns to lay down his burden for a moment and prop himself against her steel conviction, lose himself in her black and white world, and forget gray-the place where he lives. He waits...So much emotion here, it was hard to read. God, he loves her so...beautifully written, I felt every word. ~I once was lost, but now I'm found. Writing/true storytelling doesn't get much better than this one girl... Now, I'm on the hunt for some light-fluff ;-) This one is swirling around in my head and will keep me up for sure... Brilliant... fab

You are an amazing writer :-) I love, LOVE the way you start the fic: "The first time he kisses her (...)". Just one line and you are telling us what the story is about. And then we go on reading and, my God, what we find it´s a lot more. I love your way of writing Booth. I feel like hugging him anytime I read your descriptions. And there are also awesome quotes in the middle: "Looking would mean seeing". Loved that one! "... he knows the afghan is as warm now as it was when his mother gave it to him." The afghan moment is really sweet. I love when he makes a deal with himself and refuses to leave until she moves. And the next day, when he arrives at her office and startles her and it seems so natural, the way she just smiles at him, allowing him to touch her. Aw :-) "For it must be a sin, to want something as badly as he wants her" melts "Never a question of if, only when." TOTALLY AWESOME. I love that your Booth knows he is going to tell her how he feels, eventually. Really, really, love that one. I don´t know why, maybe I´m a little tired of all the denial thing in fanfic, lol, which is funny to read, but I like your view better. "She stares at him, he stares at her —seeing at last." Just one word: PERFECT. All the kiss scene is perfect. Absolutely. The kiss, the apology, the smack, and the new kiss. It´s amazing :-) I´m very glad you appreciate my reviews, but I´m so sorry my English is not better! I just want you to know how much I love your work :-) Thanks a lot for sharing! :-)
