I liked it! The cringe-worthy triangle between Steele/Laura/Murphy always makes me think "poor Murphy." You did a nice tag at the end with Bernice/Murphy. :o) I'm off to read your other stuff, as promised.

Very nicely done. You really have captured the characters' voices. I could actually see this happening in the show.
