A great story. I liked the part where Mac was comforting Stella.

I loved this story, especially the imagery - could see the pattern on the ceiling behind Mac's worried face... strong woman willing to accept help...sweet ending...this story rocks!

This turned out really well, and it's only your first fic! I love the descriptive details as Stella surveys the room and the emotional atmosphere you created. Love her thinking of Mac framed against the ceiling, and how he beats her to the hotel in the end and gives her that sweet, protective hug. So cute! Hope you write more someday!
