My internet connection died as I was typing out your review, so I'm sorry if I rush this one a little. I read it a while ago, but I thought it deserved a proper review. First of all, I really like what you did with Yuki's writing. I dislike it when real-life writers make an extremely obvious parallel to a fictional work in-story to what's actually happening in their novel/fanfic/etc. It makes the character they're writing seem really stupid, because even if they have a "blind-spot" it can't be in-your-face. You wrote with enough detailing and story build up that it wasn't THERE, but the overlap could easily be seen. I'm making sense, right? Also, your flame was so well-done I could very well image finding it somewhere, and I have probably seen versions of it some place else. I find quite a bit of humor in the fact that John wrote it just to tear down Yuki, but the senseless review ending up helping Yuki with his writing and his character. Finally, I think that you really set Yuki up on the path the becoming a better person. I believe that it takes guts to swallow your pride, learn something from it, and force yourself to move on with a little self-deprecating humor.

Hi Moon! I just read this again, and once again, I was blown away at how good it was. I don't think I ever got around to reviewing the final part of this, so just let me say-Wow!

I adore that end scene with the ciggerettes and i love the whole fic it's well written and absolutly wonderful i would have loved to know what the public would think of the book and if shuichi did go to the book launch but my imagination can fill in the blanks although if you do wish to write a sequal including thhat i would very happily read it :P

For an author, I sometimes seem to be ridiculously ineloquent in phrasing my reviews. I only review for stories I really like – maybe I review too soon after reading, when my brain is still fried.

So let me just put it plainly and say, I really loved this fic. Long live flames!

Wow, where do I start? Even having read only the first chapter I can tell you've defidently got talent. The developement and plot of the story are absolutely amazing, if not professional. I just love the idea of Yuki subconciously writing a story that relates to his own life. I absolutely love the fact that Shuichi can relate to Yuki's writing "not seeming like his own" with his experience of losing his voice when Yuki left. I'm really curious to see how this all plays out so I'm off to read chapter 2 :) .

Wow, you have a real talent for writing. Please say there will be a sequel?

First of all, I loved Yuki's reaction; it's so IC for him to just laugh it off & use a flame as constructive criticism. And the mentioning of YouTube had me lol. Even Yuki can't resist it's addictiveness. Also, the way Yuki felt disappointed when Shu didn't kiss him was so cute & the ending was perfect! Loved this fic! Hope you write more!

Eiri being "strangely disappointed"...hee. That made my day. Shuichi rambling on and on about something as simple as his hair color...HEE. That section reminded me so much of me, it's not even funny. How embarrassing. Eiri coming on a concert tour sounds so cute! And Shuichi at a book launch! Nya! (Sorry, I'm in a bit of a good mood and therefore somewhat incoherent. Forgive me!)
