Beautifully done. I have been able to read fanfiction for weeks (real life caught up with me) but this was so worth the wait. Its like Christmas. Thanks for these beautiful drabbles. Mick, Beth and Josef are all so well-written, so IN-Character that I'm amazed. It almost makes up for the show being cancelled--almost. Its still haunting me and I just cannot believe that it won't be back this fall. Please Joel, make that movie fast!

Absolutely perfectly lovely.

I always wanted him to respond to that in the show and I had a feeling it would come up again later. We might never know now-unless they do a movie. Please, Oh PLEASE! Great job with all of these. You're a drabble Mistress. Lovely, poignant and enlightening.

This installment was lovely. It really brought human vs vampire differences into a clear light. And it made it beautiful and sad.

Now see...this is a look behind the door before Beth comes out. I always wanted to know if she truly had to stop him and what kind of awkward moment ensued when he stopped feeding.

He always expects the worse and has trouble accepting that Beth is more than ready to explore his world. All of it.

IN the show you could see that he really didn't have any idea. He and Beth are in the same book but on very different pages!

Mick would have had trouble making that conversation work anyway. I don't know if Beth was ready to hear the answer on that.

She should have known better, but I don't think she was thinking rationally at that point.

I had always liked the character Josh but had never expected him to stay with Beth. I was sorry they killed him off. Beth's heart was never his after she met up with Mick.
