katrik seemed a lot younger in this fanfic than he does in your other ones, he really does grow up a lot when amar dies doesnt he? haha, it was cute having katirk not be as tough as usual :)

I love it! Very clever idea, with the passing of The Odyssey. I love Amar's character in this fic. I think you did an excellent job with it. =D

I really liked the background you made up for how Amar came to be Virginia's guardian. I always wondered how they paired the priestess with her guardian. This is just a really small suggestion that may give more depth to the story, maybe some more background on what led to the fall of the Rakshana. It was once a very honorable organization, so how did it come under the wrong hands? Just a thought.

Well there's my two cents. Now update Sweet Misery! Stat!

I like this Amar. I didn't imagine him as a traitor to the Rakshana, but I really like that twist...And you know, the people who say you sound like Libba are right. You do.

You're really great at getting into a character's mind and history. Another A+ for you! :p

Yea! I heart Amar and all his minor-character-ness! A very nice fic and a cool exploration of WHY Kartik goes around reading "The Odyssey".

I have not much to say except that it was wonderful! I love the bond you've made quite clear between them...but poor Amar! Kartik will leave the Rakshana soon enough :-) for one very special young lady *wink wink* I wish i could say it was me. lol

Wow. That was beautiful. I've always pictured Amar as a man with two sides- one that is happy and patient and merry, and one that is brooding and serious. I love it!
I don't have any siblings, but Amar certainly seems like a good older brother-- he loves and wants to protect Kartik from everything, but he realizes that he can't all of the time.
Okay, now that I go back and read that, I don't really think I got out what I wanted to say.
WONDERFUL.

So, how much in cyber-cookies do you wanna bet that Amar didn't cross over and will show up in The Sweet Far Thing? ^^
