Shelbers 2008-01-21 ch 4,	abuseOk, I loved it!! And I for one, can totally feel Lindsay's pain with the paperwork thing. Paperwork is evil! LOL! Though I have to admit...you kind of lost me when Danny changed from the maroon shirt to the baby blue one, lol. But eventually, once I got my head out of the clouds, I read the rest. The locket was such a sweet gift and the photo inside of it just made it so much better. Great fic, and I say if it's cold enough to still be Christmas, and there's more snow on the ground than there was at Christmas, no harm in reading a Christmas fic in January;)

mabelreid 2008-01-21 ch 4,	abuseNow this is definetely the way to spend Christmas Eve at work. I love the human plausible touches of equipment breaking down and piles of paperwork on desks. The picture of that last chocolate kiss stuck in her keyboard really stuck with me, I can see it so clearly in my head. I like the gift Danny gave her, what a sweet and thoughtful thing to do. Grinning, Lindsay shook her head before leaning in for another kiss. “I don’t have your present with me,” she said shyly. “You’re too nosy; so I had to hide it.” “You’re present enough, Montana,” Danny replied with a grin. Looking up, Lindsay grinned. “Couldn’t you have told me that before I bought it?” “You never asked what I wanted,” Danny countered with a wink. Lindsay raised her eyebrows and asked, “What exactly do you want?” “You,” Danny whispered before bending down to kiss her. Great ending.
mel60 2008-01-08 ch 3,	abuseOh, this is just beautiful. I love Danny's insecurity at daring to hope that Lindsay actually loves him back. Beautifully written. His character is right on. You did a tremendous job with Lindsay's thoughts and how the snow came back to memories of her dead friends. How incredibly human to have the bad memories with the good, flashes of both intermingling however they choose, with no way of controlling them. Lindsay seems to have picked up some of Danny's melancholy tone from the previous chapters, although hers is a more introverted, thoughtful tone than melancholy. Whatever it is, I absolutely adore it. And not to be corny, but the tone of the entire story makes me think of winter time. It's hard to explain, but it makes me feel like gray skies and wearing scarves and watching your breath come out in foggy puffs and heavy feelings of winter. This continues to be phenomenal.

And the sunrise as a symbol for a new beginning or in this case a next step in their relationship is great. hugs and a belated Happy Birthday!
