A tip for you though, seeing how it sounds like you just came out of a breakup, do something, anything really to distract yourself from it. Even just read a realy long book, im in a similar situation...well more like he's away for a few years so i rarly see him, i read alot to keep my mind occupied and happy, you should try it :)

well just a thought, your letting experiance colour the outcome of something potential beautifull. To compleat something once started gives an enormus sense of accomplishment and well being, and to let anything keep you from that feeling seems a bit foolish. You say it was dedicated to someone -someone special Im assuming- well dedicate it to them and the feelings that were there, use it as a way to close the wound. To leave things unfinished and hanging after a misshap no matter how minor will more than likely lead to a sense of loss and or abandonment. In my mind you should definatly continue the story, it may be hard but doing somthing for this person might just be the thing to snap you out of the depression that dissapointment and resentment brings. I know what Im talking about bcs I am more than a bit depressive at times and I speak from experiance. Closure helps, try and find it.

...I see. I don't mind if you stop writing for a awhile, maybe you should go on a month hiatus or something to sort out yor problems. If you discontinue the story, I'll understand...though, yes, I am interested in how it ends.
