| Fan Fan Girl 2007-12-05 ch 1, | abuseAaw! Lyude is so adorable here! Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! :D I love all the creativity in this story. At first, when I read the bit about the maple tree, I wondered how the heck they would even get their hands on one while riding a ship, and then I realized... Oh! It's from a magnus card! Lyude really is resourceful! Reading all the descriptions of his decorations and make-shift gifts was so cute. I can see him doing this, too. So thoughtful. ^_^ The only complaint I have is that you left some things kind of open-ended. For example, you get our attention with a CRASH! in the beginning, but then you never explain outright exactly what happened. We just see Lyude fall on the floor in surprise when Xelha catches him. Also, we never find out Xelha's present! And it was kind of sudden that he randomly started talking about snow. These things weren't really bad... I mean, they worked well in this story, but it kind of leaves me wondering if this chapter is one of many, or... But that doesn't matter. ^_^' This is a really cute story, even if Christmas isn't for another few weeks. Thanks for writing this, Brenda! Very cute! :D |
