I really enjoyed this story and I love Jaer and Jaerin It's good to see Peter and Edmund having friends. I can't wait to read the story of how Jaer gets his knighthood and the history of Alman.

My favourite bits were Edmund pronouncing sentence and the sword swap in the middle of the fight.

I'm still wondering how it is I managed to not have seen this story sooner, considering I just finished The 'Dream Dasher' very recently. I like this glimpse of the Kings and Peridan's boys as the four of them reach adulthood. It's nice to see not much has changed between them and what came out as a result of all the training in the King's Yard for those years since Jaer and Jaerin came to Narnia.

Fire and ice, polar opposites yet here merged together into a single whole, deadly in its beauty.
Joy and sorrow, two sides of the same coin, inseperable but each making the other all the stronger.

*Sigh* You certainly do have a way with words. And I do love the Samuaal passage. I have to admit, though, I'm stumped on the histroical quote. The phrase "Art wounded" seems intriguiningly familiar, but I'm not sure that's it.

Yea for two swords!!

This is a brilliant little piece. I do love seeing Edmond at his finest as a Judge of Narnia.

And I know exactly how you feel about homework. I think I have a reflection of my own to be writing soon . . .

Far out, that was good! I'm hoping that you have another story with Jaer and Jaerin in it - cause i liked them!! If not, then i hope you have another narnia story, because i really, really liked your writing style.

Question; may i please use Jaerin's name? I'm writing an original story, and i need a name for one of my characters, and i really like Jaerin. I'm not sure if you invented the name or anything, but The Lion's Might is the first place i've seen it, and thus i attribute it to you. :)

Anyway, GREAT short story, i'm off to check out your profile.

God bless,

Bundi

I am hooked. Your writing style is great - i can so imagine that i'm there seeing it happen. I could go on, but i'm too desperate to know what happens next! ;P

Wow, that was a really great first chapter! I love Jaer and Jaerin, and i love that you named them in archenland fashion. Are they twins or just brothers?

Looking forward to the rest of the story! :)

That was the end? You've made me so curious! I assume that Alman will show up in Only Children later, so I guess I'll just have to be patient.

I think of the three stories (this one, Dream Dasher, and Only Children) I liked this one best. It had very nice suspense! :)

This story was so great. I love the way they fight and how they talk and the way you discribed it all, and and and. So good. I really really loved it!!

A wonderful ending!! The last incident Alman was well written. It shows very clearly the character of Alman (I don't feel sorry that he was killed!) and I'm glad Peter didn't have to cut his head off. And ending with the brothers "reunion" and the Lion was...beautiful!

Wonderful! The characterization, the friendship, the incredible bonds of brotherhood shared by these young men were all beautifully presented. Emotions were running high throughout this. I'm glad Alman met his end, though it was fittingly dramatic. (I'd like to see more of the story of Alman one of these days, too! You can't leave us with just the end of the story!)

Thank you for this excellent and inspiring tale!
