Ooh promise me you'll keep going with this one? Every character so far has been- well, in character I suppose. In a wonderfully good way. It's good to see there are Terry Pratchett fans out there that can write with a similarly wonderful sense of humour.

A nice missing moment- I liked how in character everyone seemed- it /would/ be very like Vimes to feel he had to see something like that through, wouldn't it? The dialogue was well done, and I liked the quiet sort of atmosphere throughout. Thanks for this :)
