every truth has a facet. everything can be interpreted several ways. in this case, it was a little shove with some past history to confirm the conclusions. and suddenly, instead of treason and betrayal, it becomes a preventive strike, a defense. after all, if one is willing to kill one's allies in the back, one should not be surprised to find himself abandoned by them

I don't get why this isn't one with it's continuation but I loved it all the same. It's short, to the point, captivating and most intriguing. Thanks!

A very interesting beginning to things! I sorta have trouble imagining Hitsygaya doing something like this, but I suppose it could work. Human or not, the fear of the unknown - especially if the unknown seems more powerful than you - is real and governs so many actions. I'm off to read the other fics in this series now; excitement!

sad thing is I can actually picture Soul Society doing this since all of their enemies are people that soul society has tried to destroy at one point or another
