*blinkblink*

It's...

It's...

*It's*...

IT'S...

*OVER*!

(breaks down hysterically crying)

Ahem. Anyway...

GREAT JOB!

YAY FOR KILLING SUES! YA-A-A-A-A-A--AA--A-A-A-A--AY!!

...I admit I still don't understand the whole "we sever all our ties" thing, but, whatever saves the heroes from the Sues. ;)

Ah, the gildling will never entirely vanish? Well, if it were me I don't think I'd be TOO bothered by that - I'd be gorgeous. ;) *smirk*

Anyway...

DEATH TO SUES! DEATH! DEATH! DEATH!

...

Can't think of anything else to say except GOOD GOOD! KUDOS AND COOKIES TO YOU! :D

Happy future writings and God bless!

~Kel

P.S. I updated "Martin's Greatest Challenge". Just thought I'd let you know. ;)

Ok...I haven't read too many Redwall fics. I haven't been around for long, and I've been concentrating mostly on Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter (which, incidentally, is how I came to know about the Protectors of the Plot Continuum). I have since been firmly convinced that the PPC can get rid of all Mary Sues.

However, I have noticed that the majority of Redwallers appear to prefer solving the Sue problems themselves. I have absolutely no problems with that, I have to say. I just tend to go "Ah! Mary Sue! PPC!"

On a completely different note, I'm very impressed with this story, not just because of the wicked plot, but because of the consistently high levels of grammar and spelling. Bad spelling and grammar really, really, really, REALLY annoy me. Congratulations.

*bows modestly* You are truly welcome! I do what I can; everyone knows how much those muses eat.
Riverfox (the otter): Speak for yourself!
Me: Don't back-talk me, and you're not technically a muse, anyways!
And you're very welcome for the compliments, for they were very well deserved! Yeah, we don't want it to end either, but it was awesome, anyways! Definitely going on my Favorites list! :D *is glad she remembered that before finishing her last review*

I like this epilogue a lot! There was something about it's simplicity and normalcy that made it seem really realistic and true to the Redwall world. :) And the ending scene was wonderfully dramatic! Great ending, you guys! If you ever do a sequel, I will definitely enjoy reading it! Keep it up! (And on a side note, thanks for posting this today; I'm going off the Internet tomorrow for a week, so if you had posted it any later than today I would have missed it! ^^)
I did the whole end-of-story flourish in my last review, so I won't degrade its specialness by repeating. To put it simply, congratulations on finishing a wonderful Redwall fic, and keep up the great work in your future stories! :D

P.S. I thought it was funny that both you and Maiden of the BH finished your stories right about the same time, since we both read her story and I'm reviewing both of yours. I dunno, just thought it was worth mentioning. ^^ If you haven't read her last chapter yet (discounting the yet-to-be-posted prologue), better get over there soon, 'cause it's intense!

Chow! (As in eating or as in bye, take your pick!) ;D

And you interrupted my watching Lucy to read this? Argh.
Just kidding.
This is good.
Just so you think that it wrapped everything up.
It did, didn't it?

Ah very good. Ending in a nice feast type thing. Although I was kinda expecting to see Kayln and Aelin commenting on the action in some way shape or form. Well done on actually completing a story. There's a bunch around here that seem to go on or havn't been updated for the longest time. It's great to see a few people who stick to something and see it through. Well done.

Whoo-hoo! Virtual cupcakes! *snarfs* Thanks!
Oo, sweet, an epilogue! That rocks! :D I know how that feels, reaching the end of a story like that. I also want to commend you two, for being so dedicated in pumping out this story on a near-constant time schedule like that! ^^ It's actually a bit more admirable since you were working together, because it's twice as hard that way to keep the writers' interest and dedication alive! Great job! :D Lol, don't worry about prizes, I'm just the curious type. ;) And we'll be sure to look you up the next time we need lightsaber parts. Riverfox (the otter warrior) uses hers so often, I'm pretty sure she burns out her power cell twice a year...

Excellent end to the chapter! You guys did great! :D (I know you're girls, I call everyone guys; it's like how the plural for people in Spanish is always masculine. ^^ Or you didn't even notice and I'm just rambling. Either way, my work here is done. :D) I love how you rounded out all of the characters, and I think it's really funny how you made your self-inserts realistic to how authors actually are! I think we all can get Suethor traits if we're not careful; that's why I value staying canon in a fanfiction. :)
LOL! The part w/ the music playing over the battle was HILARIOUS! XD And Kimber's reaction to it all was perfect! I adore stuff like that; reminds me of the scene from the movie 'Enchanted' where the girl gets all these New Yorkers singing and her guy friend, the only sane one at the moment, is going, "What the heck?! I've never even heard this song before!" XD Wish I knew those songs by name, but I got the idea, anyways.
And waytago, Rowan! We love the squirrel. ^^ And there you added another character reaction I highly appreciate:
"It’s not fair! His mind screamed. No! I don’t WANT to be turned!"
For some reason, those moments of weakness in a character really speak to me; I think it finally shows the character to be truly 'human' (in the one sense of the word). Very nicely done. Rowan just wouldn't have been as believable a character if he had only been a big tough Sue-slaying squirrel.
And the omen of more Sues being able to come through at another time was cool, too; speaks the possibility of a sequel w/out dedicating yourselves to writing one, and covers the fact that Sue-writers will still continue to write Sue-fics.

AWESOME job, you two! Major congratulations on finishing your fic! (Disincluding the epilogue, of course.) You both did an excellent job, and again, I admire your dedication that brought you to finishing this! Can't wait to read the epilogue, and I hope to read more fics by both/either of you in the future. Congrats!

*Riverfox237 gives Eruravenne and storiewriter a truckload of pizzas, cookies, insta-flavor ice-cream, soda, and several gallon-tubs of popcorn shrimp as congrats for finishing their very entertaining and well-written fic*

Chow! (As in food or as in 'bye, take you're pic!) ;)

Wow, a Sue-fighting story that beats the Sues without the PPC!

I commend you.

I really enjoyed this, and I hope you write more on a similar topic some day.

This is a good story and has an excellent beginning. But what is a sue? I've heard of them but what are they?
