I can't believe it. I just chuckled my way all through this. When I wasn't chuckling, I was bursting out laughing. So there.

During the entire orientation, I was imagine Inui reading out the story's words. The effect was FTW but then again, so was the story.

I'm not even sure Sanada actually has a pet rock, I mean family rock, but who cares? I laughed. And all's well.

this story reminds me of sandy's stories although this one takes on another level of crack (which is awesome and completely halarious)

This is so funny, especially this part.

Sanada hastily checked his back pocket and whipped the family rock right out of it. He almost fainted with joy as he threw it up into the air and caught it, and then spun around in circles with the rock, and he swore he heard the song in the distance, You’re the meaning in my life, you’re the inspiration…
It took him all the way until the second chorus to realize his team was all staring at him.

I kinda find it hard to believe that Gen-chan actually carrys a rock with him all the time.^-^; ...Anyways, good job! =D

I read the title and was like: "o_o" and decided to read it because, well, Sanada + Rock has got to be forthewin. And it was. Really wonderful writing--the way you presented the whole story was absolutely amazing and I was laughing all the way through.

I was so tempted to go read, like, one of Sandy's stories, just so I'd remember that Sanada doesn't carry a rock around in his shorts. xD;; I don't know when, but sometime in the middle of your story, I lost many, many brain cells. Not that I used them or anything. You know. It's like... Yeah. Many brain cells. Many, many neglected brain cells. Hmm. I'd go into deep thought, but then I would be thinking. Erm, wait. Okay, never mind. -_-;;

Well, damn.

I was going to say "YOU ROCK!!1", but since the powers that be might interpret that as a cheap pun and send Bane after me, I didn't, yay! ^o^ (do you realize how hard it was to stop myself from using the PUNishment pun right there?) So, instead I'm going with:

This is the most awesomely hilarious story that has ever been written about some tennis player and a rock. This story is very beautiful and makes me happy inside. There should be more.

Plus, this felt a lot like Sanada-mocking. And if he has a pet rock (family rock, whatever) that he carries around all the time then he DESERVES to be mocked. Because seriously, what the hell? xD

And I love Renji for being like "I'm Renji. DUH.". It reminds me a lot of Inui, and Inui is awesome (and infinitely superior to Renji in any way, shape and form.), so this means that just this once Renji was awesome too. Even though he usually gives me the creeps because he's the only character whose eyes WE HAVE NEVER SEEN, and since in anime the evil-ness of a character is indirectly proportional to the amount of time their eyes are open/shown, he must be SATAN. (or he WOULD be, if that position wasn't already taken by Fuji. Hm.)

Well, that was rambly. Back to your story. And Sanada's rock. Heh. Just thinking about that rock is still enough to make me laugh. And I adore you for elaborating on the whole concept, because even if I didn't know about the Sanada Family Rock before - if such a thing indeed exists, then somebody HAD to write a story about it. And it's good you were the one to do it too, because you're awesome and so is your writing style and your sense of humour. You're even awesome-ish-er than Inui, which means your awesomeness levels are pretty much off the chart.

In short: you win at life.

omg...I laughed so hard while reading this. First it started at the specially-made pink pouch and then I couldn't stop...XD When I read that Sanada had music playing in the distance, I seriously envisioned Sanada leaping through a field of blinding flowers with his rock. So hilarious...Thanks for the entertainment. :)

I just felt really sad because I saw how many reviews this was NOT getting despite the fact that it is the best story ever written. I'm serious. I was laughing out loud the whole time, so that everyone surrounding me would have surely been ashamed...if they existed. (What am I even talking about?)

This also spurred me on to go check out a few translations of 40.5...and the Sanada family rock is the meaning of my life. xD I've felt very strange about that, but I got over it.

This story perfectly captures the severity of this terrible situation if somehow such a tragedy were to befall Sanada. I like moodswingy!Sanada who goes between hitting people and fretting about his lost Beloved. And yes...this story made me love Renji--yes, Renji--even more. Because if he says anything, it must be the truth.

You can't play tennis with The Family Rock. NIOU.

But this was purely amazing. This made my entire day. So thank you very much!
