What a great oneshot! I must say that I am a huge fan of the beatles and across the universe as well, and I produce ATU fanfics like no other... So I've read a lot of stories about Across the Universe, heck, I help run a community for Across the Universe Stories...but I havent' read this good of a story in a long time. I love the way you write Jude's train of thoughts...I can see him thinking about all these things...with that gorgeous accent. And Lucy? Lucy was equally as beautiful...with her feeling guilt for Jude showing up in the first place at the protest, and her apologizing to him at the end, even if he doesn't hear it.
