One thing though, the characters seem just the teeniest bit OOC, Baurus in particular. He seems to be nicer than Glenroy, but then again, this is only the first chapter. n3n

Definitely a good start! Dahlia has so much character. You're very good at getting Khajiit-style speech patterns right (or kitty-talk, as Valen so eloquently put it)! I'll definitely be keeping an eye on this. ^_^
