I really like this story, and I can't wait for an update to see what's going to happen with Kasumi and Alex's relationship

You've got chapters and chapters of barely anything happening. I don't find Alex to be a very sympathetic character becuase he's a jerk and he doesn't have any balls. You gotta get something going cuz this stuff is getting to be a chore to read now. Just giving you some honest input.

Excellent, a climactic showdown! Although I am confused as to what Ayane plans to do next, observe Kasumi and watch how Alex changes her life and vice versa; watch them fall in love and then take down Alex in the prime of their romance thus inflicting the kind of pain on Kasumi that no physical wound could heal is that the way the wind blows?
Ha! Regardless, it was an interesting move of yours to introduce Alex's father at this point in the story. I like how you've slowed down the pace of the development of Alex and Nanako's relationship in order to allow further development of Kasumi and Alex's relationship. Whether intentional or not, it shows good planning.

A name for Alex's dad would be nice... just a thought.

On a technical level this was a lot clearer than the last chapter of TDF, i only noticed a few slip ups, oddly enough all but one were in the conversation Alex has with Nanako.
The first one was in the second paragraph in that conversation, you wrote 'The Nanko' which made me laugh because it reminds me of the Vortigaunts from Half Life 2 always referring to Gordon Freeman as 'The Freeman'.
At around the half way point in their conversation you forgot to put a space between 'one' and 'time'.
In the last three line paragraph of this conversation you wrote 'and after a very she has a nice long talk with him'.
Finally in the conversation with his dad in the third four line paragraph you wrote 'he came back japan'.

That's all i caught anyway. Keep up the good work mate.

Aside from watching my friend playing the game of Dead of Alive, and a fig of Ayane from a gashapon machine, I know nothing bout it.

That and she's one heck of a looker/fighter in the games. But now that I read the story you have here, it sorta gave me some idea as to what she could be like. I really love the drama and twists you have here. Although there are some cliche's, like old ex coming back from somewhere and the whatnot, but I'm intrigued by what will happen next. Hope to see another update soon.

And I dropped out of avatar's tournament, and it turns out you can still enter, but you have to "adopt" a character from the adoption agency. Right now, you can choose Auron from FFX, Rorscach from Watchmen, Starkiller/Vader's Apprentice from Star Wars, Nero from DMC4, and Raidou Kuzunoha the 14th (though I may reclaim him if I decide to reenter) from Devil Summoner. I just hope that the people that pick Nero and Raidou will not let them die. If they do, I will never forgive them and show them how deadly this shadow can truly be!
