I think this is a nice, short peice dysplaying a snipit of Suzunagi's thoughts, expecially twords the confussion she had to wrestle with after she met up with Seiji. After all... he did contradict every image Suzunagi thought the armor bearers were. And, you did a wonderful job in capturing Suzunagi's character nicely and accurately. I know it's a short peice, but I think it's better to have quality over quanity; which you do have. Nice work! |
| Boggy 2007-12-16 ch 1, | abuseI'm at odds with myself over Suzunagi's thoughts—are they too brief, or to the point enough that we don't dawdle on unnecessary repetition or angst? I can't decide. I like the idea of the Seiji and Suzunagi relationship—not romantically, mind you, but the sympathetic, compassionate relationship that forms out of his understanding of Suzunagi's hatred and pain. I'd begun a story myself, but it's long since fallen to the backburner. This almost inspires me to revisit that old fic. I wish I could say something constructive, but everything is summed up quite nicely within the piece. The language is fantastic, and it's a wonderfully accurate (from my perspective) portrayal of Suzunagi's character. ...Blast. I wish I had something more to say. |
