doc.exe 2008-08-24 ch 1, anon.	abuseProbably, the best fanfiction I have read with Shino as the main protagonist. Your characterization of him is right on spot. I wish there were more fanfiction centered on him. He is an incredible character. I wonder what happened to Kurenai and if her team managed to recue her, but I suppose you left that open on purpose. Personally, my only complaint is that I would have liked to read a more detailed description of Idate's suffering. What can I say? I simply enjoy watching cocky bastards like him reveal themselves as the cowards they are and pleading for their lives (or for a quick death in this case) when things go nasty and out of their control. It's like a drug to me, I simply can't get enough of it. ^_^ I depart for now! Keep writing. And good luck!

Your perspective on inter-country relations between shinobi is unpleasant, yes, but more realistic than most of the peace-and-love-will-triumph pap most of the fic here seems to describe to. I found Shino to be almost frighteningly in-character-- I had no trouble at all picturing him torturing an enemy for information, and it doesn't make me like his character any less. More if anything. Thanks for a good read, keep up the excellent work. ~Eia

I think there was a character in the Naruto chapters (between chapter 136 and chapter 220) that was named Idate. I don't remember x_x. At the first part I didn't find any purpose to the shot, because even if it could real happened it doesn't change anything in the Naruto story (really... but the point is...) . But then I just continued reading cuz IT was great n-n Umm...I think it's all. Thanks for sharing this one-shot :) Kao-chan
