Sawyer studies him for a long moment. “Everyone did.”- that was the best line ever.

i mean... its so true. Kate's past is so sad, its always awesome when someone picks up on it properly, instead of some melodramatic Skate/Jate thing.

and Sawyer keeping her 'knicknacks' was so sweet! and kind of sad, in some weird way it kind of summed up their relationship.

anyway, yeah. i loved that ;)

I've read all your skate fanfics, every one of them (well, Bird in a wire and this one more than once) and all I can say is that they are WONDERFUL. You make it emotional, dramatic, the characters keep perfectly in character, it's wonderfully written and I fall in love with all of them. So, just keep it up. Wow that was fantastic, i loved it!

Her knickknacks, as he'd grumpily called them, still lined his kitchen windowsill.- I dont know why but the line made my eyes water, to think that he had kept her 'knickknacks'

Perfect ending by the way at first i thought it was Kate but it was a horse and i loved it even more.

Wow. Powerful. I like the boar at the end.
