Hum. So, I just got done reading Welcome to Wammy (and completely fell in love with it!) but it appears that this is unfinished and you haven't updated in over a year... so, do you have plans to finish it or should I just stop reading at the end of WtW?

Um. Totally not complaining or being a ** or anything, I'm just curious. Also Welcome to Wammy was probably the best Death Note fic I've read. I loved the way you portrayed all of them, but ESPECIALLY how you explained Mello's religious thing. I've been wanting this fic since I first saw mob boss Mello shoot someone with a rosary wrapped around his pretty little neck.

So well done, and I will adore you even if you don't have plans to finish this one.

(To be clear, I actually haven't read Morning Star yet. I'll get to it tomorrow morning though)

This is an excelent story thus far. I've just finished reading back over both this and Welcome to Wammy. It's been nearly a year since you last updated, so I'm kind of doubtful, but I'm really, really hoping you'll finish this story. I would love to see where it goes.

Well, I think I can safely admit that this is the most devastated I've felt after reading a fic. I knew when I started reading that this was going to be painful. After all, it's been nearly a year since you've updated, and I know that after so long, a future update is very unlikely. It's heartbreaking really, because you've got such a memorizing story. I love everything about this series and all the suffering that goes with it. Even with the chances of an update being next to nil, I'm going to go ahead and put this story on my alert list. This is a story I won't forget.

I spent some time this afternoon reading some Mello fics. None of them got his character down. Not one. To get my faith in Mello back, I had to read this again- the second part of the story that made Mello my favourite character before I even saw him in the anime.
Anway...we all need you to update. Maybe by Christmas. It'd be a nice gift. Screw it- before Christmas, IF you can.

There isn't any other DN fanfiction out there as good as what you write.

wow, i was half way through this story before i realized you hadn't updated in almost a year. that's realy rather depressing seeing as i absolutely love this story! it's so amazing, and the way you word mello and matt's thinking processing is astounding! it's like your having them write some parts, especially chapters 14 and 15. so i would totally love you forever and make you the queen of the world (if i could) if you would update... pretty please. i want to see how matt deals with the mafia! and i want to see if he ever starts liking mello back and if they actually have the talks... PLEASE! ...i love you...

That was...awe-inspiring.
I tripped over and fell onto a chainsaw for this (as unbelievable as this sounds, its true) and it's all so human, so brilliant, I can't believe it.
I admit, I'm a little disgruntled with its incomplete status, but still...Matt's morphine addiction, the half-attraction they have with each other...the naivete just *gone*. This story is beautiful in every way I could have possibly imagined.
I really hope you keep going with it!
I'll put you on alert so I can pounce on anything you write.

I can't wait 'til the next chapter's out x3 srsly, I rarely ever find MxM fics that don't look like they're written by ten-year-olds who have a problem with punctuation and capitalization and use too many cliches. (Sadly, my younger brother is like that. That is why I'm sure he'll never be an author.)

Hacker!Matt always makes me giggle. x3 I dunno why, but I find it amusing.
