good chapter! the title of the story makes so much sense now. they are all obsessed with something. seems to be a common trait among heroes. once again, i'm loving the characters' relationships. nathan and alex and their concern for peter... i really like that. and peter being all self-sacrificial--very peter. and the ending was really good--surprising. keep up the good work!

Yes, it would have been so much easier and faster for Claire if she was a part of the "Flying Petrellis".

Nathan wouldn't be Nathan if he didn't worry about his little brother. I love the scenes between Nathan and Alex.

"Until she felt the presence of a cotton and polyester blend draped around her shoulders. She quickly placed the jacket on, the wool lining warming her neck, arms and torso." This scene I could see in my head. Great description.

“Hi, honey. I’m home,” she whispered into his ear.." Okay, this gave me goosebumps.

there is so much suspense in this story! i love that. and i'm still loving the way you write your characters. they are very in character, and i can feel their emotions: claire's frustration, nathan's worry for peter, etc. i love the relationship between alex and nathan. it's kind of similar to nathan and phoebe's relationship in my story. they play off each other's wit and are always looking out for peter. i love that, too.

I wished Nathan and Claire would really talk to each other. Everything is not alright. They do need one another. They can sense each other's feelings. They are related. And that second call of Nathan's...who was that?
