This chapter is pretty nice.

Utena is so serious now about being a well-rounded prince.

Absolutely love the interaction between Ms. Readman and Utena. Drawing Chu-Chu and Anthy caused by her subconscious. Excellent! That's so sweet.

About Amagasaki, well, the boy really don't have any shot in hell. I kind of expected Tenchi's words to him.

And Dios is being so active now. I guess Utena would be more amiable to Dios' influence. Here comes acceptance. But we're talking about Utena...so...

Wow, she defeated Ruka. So I guess her training from the Misaki men is almost ending and she would be train by Dios' experience.

Too bad she had to quit her part-time job. But still an excellent chapter. On to the next one.

I think you're crazy for not being satisfied with this one. I feel it is one of the better chapters. :)

I'm a huge fan of the SPG and I'm kind of miffed at their negative portrayal. I believe that the SPG wanted to mock Akio rather than Utena in their very satirical (or sophomoric to quote Akio) version of the Tale of the Rose. The play also served the dual purpose of jump starting Utena's memories. The play served those two purposes in the show, so what purpose does it have now besides making Utena angry? And, better yet, why does Utena think that the SPG were sent by Akio (especially if she remembers the shadow plays of the Black Rose Arc)? The SPG loved to mock Akio. Speaking of Akio, he's the one who saves Utena in the manga only fire subplot. So why is Utena ** off at Akio one moment, then totally forgets his involvement the next? I'm rather confused.

This was great! I loved it. I really liked the fire scene, you described it beautifully (and no wonder, given your experience). I also really liked that you've had Utena begin trying to become friends with Aeyeka, too (at the same time, I like that she didn't befriend her right at the beginning). I think my favorite thing, though, is that Utena is finally going to tell them (at least some of) what happened. I am curious, will we get to hear Utena tell the story, how she tells them and what she leaves out, or will we just see her reaction?

Also, I've noticed elements of manga here--the fire with Wakaba and I think the letter you mentioned at the very end. Is Utena's Aunt Yurika ever going to pop up, or is she a non-entity like in the series?

Anyways, this was great. You had a few grammar slip-ups, but nothing terrible. It was a good read though. I can't wait to find out what happens next, so update soon please!

The chapter is well done, though I can tell the typing was rushed-there was a lot of misspellings and wording errors-you need a beta. You're too good to get caught up with piddling mistakes, but this chapter needed to be told. I bow in respect to your storytelling greatness.

Awesome! I loved this chapter. Very little happened, action wise, but at the same time, it was packed stuff. I really like Utena's development so far. Her ruminations during her Kendo practice, her epiphany while training, and her proactive contact with Dios...wonderful! A lot of little things, but they made this great. I like some good character development.

I am interested in Utena's attitude change and what it will mean for her training. She was always serious, but now she seems...passionate about it. And she's definitely branching out. Is she going to try and learn every technique there is to learn? Hopefully she does't decide to take off on a spaceship or something.

I admit, I did miss the other characters, though, and I am a little sad that she quit her job. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate what it means for her future, but there was something about the cafe that made it a pleasure to read about.

Well, this was exciting. I can't wait to see what the future holds for her. Training with Dios, Katsuhito, maybe even Ryoko if she decides for something less formal. She's got her hands full! I can't wait to read more.

I really enjoyed the introspective journey that was present in this chapter. And I was certainly glad for the update. I did miss the character interactions... more in the next chapter? :)

So that means that Utena's enjoying Washu's Christmas gift. That means no one show her scars if she do have them from the Swords of Hate.

Ah, Sasami and Utena talked about Mihoshi - fun. Next best thing. LOL. And finally Wakaba was remembered. Wait Wakaba was also kind of mentioned at the start about as heavy as a sack of monkeys. Ah, Sasami is observant.

Oh flashblacks about the promise to be Anthy's prince.

Oh my god. So both Utena and Sasami dreamt that Morpheus dream sequence. And finally Dios was introduced to Sasami. Thought that they would even bonded over that topic as I mentioned in the previous review.

Haha about Tenchi's collateral damage. *sweatdrops* oh yeah, I can imagine it... no need, it's in the anime.

And you go wherever you want it to go. We're enjoying it so far. So many other character, so many plots to put in. Don't worry.

Wha? Ryoko? Oh god. Mwahahahah. A kiss and a body press. Is it just me or is she flirting? Playful sisterly teasing? I somehow doubt. You're evil with subtext you know.

Ayeka and Tenchi's reactions were oh so funny. Then Sasami came in and Utena was all panicky. You have to ask... what for? LOL. Sasami doesn't seemed innocent.

Even if Utena doesn't know what happened, she's blushing? So she's not so naive? I knew it, the Anthy story was a dream.

Utena drunk? oh my. Singing. Was recorded. Oh shame. well, I can relate, happened to me before, not videotaped though, thank God.

Oh well, now that cleared up Ryoko-Utena subtext, there's none. Hah. So only Utena dreamt the Anthy dream sequence.

Mihoshi vs Ryoko in the chest department. hahahaha. Very funny as well as the pillow fight that followed. They were so playful and fun to imagine. But what's with the kiss her lips from Ryoko? Ah, good old fun teasing and disarming.

Mihoshi won. This is by far the funniest thing that happened to your fic. 'asphyxiation via breasts' LOL.

And the talk with Sasami, Utena was too funny and here I thought that Tenchi was awkward. LOL. hahahah. Sorry, can't stop laughing and snickering. I'm still stuck with asphyxiation. Hahahahaha.

And yes they were acting lovey dovey in front of their friends because of the plan but they are also like that when their friends are not there.
