Hey, The Fox and the Hound is my favorite book and movie so I'm really glad that someone wants to write fanfic about it (and do a good job at that). Your story is enthralling and original; I look forward to the future chapters. I do agree with Tonyboy in the fact that Vixey seemed a little out of character, but at least your making their relationship a little more interesting. I was reading your profile and I really hope you don't stop making these sweet stories.

...Don't know how my account is unaccessable anymore. Anyways, got the Mannix novel. It's awesome! I've been noticing a few similarities between Spring's Awakening and it, and even in the Disney movie! Mannix does such a good job at creating the perspectives of Tod and Copper, even if he does make them sound a little too intelligent. I'm on the third chapter already. Just to point out something, (not being critical)-Chief dies in the second chapter, not the fourth or the fifth, we never see Copper being adopted, and Tod isn't put in a nature preserve-he returns to the wild on his own. I suppose it's been a while since you read the book, though. One of the best I've ever read.

I heard Copper had to be euthanized with a shotgun at the end of the book. Did he have rabies?

I have this gut feeling that Flem is not to be trusted. I also keep forgetting to ask: Isn't Tod supposed to be The Chosen one?

Been trying to find that damn book, it's so rare the only copies I could find were like, 300 dollars. But I think I saw one for three dollars the other day...YAY!

Here I am again, finally, checking out this story. It's great, as usual! I love the way you have so many different plot lines at once, and your epic style in these stories. I have you on alert, and I'll be eagerly awaiting updates!

Another great chapter! One thing I forgot to mention though, in my last review, was Vixey seemed a little out of character. I don't see her being all angry at Tod just becuase he was raised by a human.
