wow, i really love this story and the wa you have blended ff10 and 10-2, in a really unque way.

Another riveting chapter! Every voice could be individually heard here; you have a great knack for keeping characters separated and IC.

Onto non-Lucil/Elma related things about this chapter, nice filler stuff. But that same ol' question is in my head: WHAT HAPPENED TO MARODA! Is he dead? Is he alive? Is he BOTH?

Nice cameo from Father Zuke. But I mistook him for an unsent Kinoc at first, so that boggled my mind until I saw Zuke's name. Whoops.

I agree with Auron: What's Lu thinking? That vision of Yuna made Zuke go into obsessive Yevonite mode. And Zuke seemed rather practical in FFX compared to other priests. This is bad...

I sense more Nooj/Paine goodness. :) By the way, where did you come up with the name Juno for Paine? It suits her perfectly, but I can't think of why you did that. Anyway...

Onto what's really on my mind: HURRAY!! I was slightly disappointed when the point of view changed once Elma left to see Lucil. "Oh, great, here comes another implied something..." But I WAS WRONG and I'm happy about it! Very sweet moment between those two, kudos to the author. ^_^ It made me smile. And you threw it in when I least expected it!

I can die happy now.

Wait, no I can't. I have to see how Auron gets Lu outta this. And how Nooj/Paine develops. And what the heck that replay of Yuna's near-suicide was about. And whatever else you've got up your sleeve! So I'll keep reading!

Another wonderful chapter, as always.

First, I'll start with what's fresh in my head: Auron. I LOVED how you threw his original home into his vision. It sounds so intriguing! "Eyes the color of rust, black hair that turned ash-gray..." Are you suggesting that Paine, Lu and Auron are in some separate race? If so, awesome! That would explain SO MUCH since they are the only three characters IN BOTH GAMES who share those differences...

That small explanation sucked me in so much that I almost forgot to keep reading. Almost.

I liked Lu's explanation about the whole Tidus/Shuyin thing. It made sense, but now I'm wondering why Yevon cut her off. Was that just for him to seize more control over her, or was Yevon somehow using Shuyin?

Once again...WHAT HAPPENED TO MARODA! I figured out A LOT from this chapter but nothing specific! (He may be dead but he's not since he's talking to Lulu/Sin, but he is because he wants to be unsent, but he may NOT be since Auron just went through the same thing...but Auron was dead to start with, so...) Argh. My brain is frying trying to think about it. I guess I'll have to keep reading. :)

Where did Lenne come from? I read an earlier review that asked this question, and it's suddenly bugging me, too. Did she escape from the Songstress dressphere over these thirteen years, or did she gravitate toward her lover? Hm...

Too. Many. Questions. I like it. Specatcular work, once again! :)

Just a bit shocked that not many people have reviewed the current chapters. Just read all the way from the beginning to this point and I must say that I am deeply impressed.

The whole idea is quite saddening, with Yuna dead, Tidus gone, and Lulu as the new Sin. But it is interesting. however, I would prefer to see Rikku make more of a contribution to the story. Considering herself and Auron are the only ones left. (Wait, Kimahri's not dead) Anyway, that's purly a personal opinion.

I'd just like to see Rikku maybe interacting with Sin/Lulu maybe like Auron does, purly because she's the only one with a connection to her. (Wakka's dead too isn't he?)

In any case, the writing itself is sound and good. :)

Okay, so it looks like ffnet won't let me do multiple reviews for a single chapter. I wanted to mention that it's rained like hell here in the Carolinas for about five days straight, and I thought of how you described rain as 'little sullen barbs'.

I think it was in chapter 4 or 5, though I can't remember for sure, but whichever it was, it totally suits the weather here. I read that line when I started reading this fic and I've not forgotten it.

Grr. I've been so busy that I'm neglecting my favorite fics. I promise I'll leave a better review later, but I just wanted to let you know that I think you must have power over the clouds.
It never rained like this until I read that bit.

Hmm... Shuying returning to the Farplane with Lenne seemed surprisingly quick - almost to the point of being rushed, but it was alright. I was quite surprised by Lenne's appearance. Is Isaaru carrying around the Songstress dressphere? ;D

Anyway, it was interesting revealing to us Auron's childhood home, and even a bit of their culture. I never would've thought that about him, but it does seem to fit.

And now he's in the Via Purifico... with Maroda?

Can't wait to see what happens next!
