Brilliant piece. Perfectly in character. I remember reading this fic quite a while ago, and later remembering the circle dialogue and thinking it was actually from an episode. Perfectly in character. Awesome!

Sometimes it seems like most of House and Wilson's conversations are therapy sessions. I love this one just as much as anything on the show! It's kind of sad and sweet how desperately they need each other's companionship. They're like an old married couple, always bickering but they'll never EVER leave each other. Best TV friendship ever!

And one of the best House fics I've read in ages!

Wonderful story! :) I really loved the "Circle Analogy" woven through the entire thing, and the ending was just right, going back to Wilson's original problem with the room being sterile and unforgiving. Great stuff. ;)

That was beautiful. Thanks so much for sharing it! I like the House-Wilson Circle. My cousin once said that, in the administrative structure of her workplace, she felt like she occupied a hierarchical cul-de-sac - little authority, little responsibility, nice view. I think it's good for House and Wilson to carve out little cul-de-sacs from the stress and power of their jobs and just eat pizza together now and then :) And the highlighted cancer patients reminded me just how wonderful a doctor Wilson can be - he's who I'd want to see if I were in pain and in trouble, that's for sure! Thanks again for writing.

Oh, this is such a sweet story and I wish that this kind of thing would happen in the series, but I don't think that House will ever be so open about these things and I certainly hope that Wilson won't be this miserable in there, either.

Too bad the last one is already happening...

Anyway a very sweet story and I want to read more of that kind and there could be a sequel if ya know what I mean.

One thing I don't understand though... Why as Wilson that surprised when House told him about his kick out of the circle? He knows him and it's the absolute truth...

But I guess only people who aren't in this circle either understand this...

Most satisfying! Well written, with great characterisation and believable dialogue. I thought the story was very well structured too, with nice echoes of 'canon'.

For me, the excellence of fan-fiction writing comes when I finish reading a chapter or a one-shot and I want to read it again. Not because I skimmed the story on first reading, but because I loved it so much that I want to read it again. "Therapy" would fall into that category. LOVED IT! I loved the entire verbal exchange between House & Wilson and how it played out - right to the very end. You have the repartee between the two of them down to a "T." If I didn't know any better, I would swear that you were on the "House" writing staff. Yes, you are that good!
