Fizzing Wizard 2007-12-18 . chapter 5First, a word of advice: You'll get more reviews if you turn on the Allow Anonymous Reviews button in your settings. Since people on can no longer remain logged in for more than 3 days at a time without retyping their email and passwords, a lot of people will just choose not to review a story that doesn't allow anonymous reviews rather than bother with logging in. It's a tried and proven method of getting more reviews. ;)
Secondly, I really liked the plot of this story. It's unique and daring. Plus there were a few plot twists that were really great, such as during the third chapter I was quite convinced that Watson was the murderer, but in the fourth chapter finding out it was Holmes, I was able to see how the dialogue in the third chapter also worked to incriminate Holmes.
I would really like to see you give this story another shot. This is far too short for the intricate plot you've come up with. You could really turn it into a great story. You'd have to put a little more thought into the content of each chapter, and, also, do a lot more edittig - there are many grammar and spelling errors that could be eliminated simply by running spellcheck. And if you want a more trustworthy editor, find yourself a beta reader to preview your chapters before you post them and point out any mistakes. You could even expand on Molengard with a longer version of the story.
I definitely encourage you to have another go at it! |
Sanguinary Tears 2007-12-15 . chapter 5Sherlock Holmes a murderer and insane at that! What an amazing story! But how could Holmes kill Watson? They were friends, they understood each other...well sort of. Watson really does have loyatly to Holmes, for goodness sakes the poor man lets his best friend kill him and he doesn't put up a fight. I loved it very much, and I hope you get a good grade for this! |
