Denouement Intrusion 2007-12-31 ch 1,	abuseOh. My. Gods. THIS is your first NCIS fic? (applauds and bows in awe) This was simply fantastic. I wept reading what Tony said while lying on the warehouse floor with his team around him. I distinctly remember thinking 'Ch*t, can't you people HEAR that he's dropping a lung? Can't you tell he's trying to buy a tension pneumothorax that will F'ing KILL him!' It actually took me several seconds to realize that I was READING, not hearing, what was going on...a bizarre sense of reality distortion, to say the least! And Gibbs' belated realization of just how much Tony was and had been suffering, and how he had pulled everyone back together and even helped Ziva try to get to a better place with Abby, but NO ONE had, even once, done anything to try to help Tony put himself back together, and how Kate herself had tried to help Gibbs understand that Tony desperately needed to hear him SAY certain things - well, that was so well done I seriously am in awe. It took my breath away. Gibbs angst and Tony angst in the same story, who could ask for more! Kudos, applause, and serious pitiful puppydog begging - write more soon! Puleze? ;-) And Happy New Year!
