So... This story... Well... It... Is unbelievably freaking amazing. I LOVE your characterization and... Everything! I did sorta want an emotional breakdown of Alix... But that never would have really fit :/ Just my latent vaguely sadistic wishes coming out full force on my favorite literary figures! So I'm in love with this story, will reread and fawn over it like a 13 year old fan girl at a Twilight convention. Thank you so freaking much for this gender reversal role that strayed beautifully from the movie without destroying tenuous connections to that oh so adored tale! A virtual hug for you! Squee moment over. Thank you for reading my babble.

Well, after having found and then promptly read the entirety this story (all in the span of approximately 24 hours!), I strongly believe that you have written one of the most compelling and greatest "Beauty and the Beast" fanfiction, fellow writer; and not just a mere genderswap with barely disguised changes. I suppose one advantage I possessed was not having to wait for subsequent updates, but I digress. Your take on the characters (namely, Alix, Ger, Maurice, Genevieve, and Laliene) was quite original and interesting, albeit with some allusions and references to other known (fanfic, et al) adaptations of the original French tale. I especially liked the numerous changes you must have painstakingly put together so as to make this story your own. Furthermore, the way in which you had Alix lampshade her own beauty post-human again transformation, which as you put as "Alix may not have been the most beautiful woman in seven kingdoms, but she was certainly attractive" among other similar lines, really resonates with how it is the person behind the "beast" that the "beauty" ultimately falls in love with and vice-versa (even after being human again). On a final note, regardless of your current status (hiatus or retired), I wish you the best of luck in future endeavors.

I absolutely loves this fanfiction! It was amazing and I couldn't imagine it done any better! The only thing I didnt like... was that Genevieve died. I actually liked Genevieve and i think she should have lived. I felt mad also that no one seemed to care that she died besides Laliene. It was sad. I think she should've lived.
But nonetheless, I loved this story! Thank you for writing it!

A remarkable adaptation of characters known and loved! Ger and Alix are exactly what Belle and the former beast would be like should their genders be reversed. And, I feel compelled to share, the one thought rushing through my head in this whole story was "what if the universes collided?" Alix and the Beast would almost certainly loathe one another (like a cat and a dog), and Ger and Belle would probably end up friends. But the funniest would be Gaston and Genevieve. "In this town there's only she, who is beautiful as me!" Love ya, thanks for the great read!

d arque freaks me out as well, I love the fact that frollo (or tony jay, which ever is the more familiar name) did his voice, it always seemed to have a deep dark menacing sound to it

villains have to be the funnest to write, they can have such varying characters and moods and images, in my opinion they can sometimes be more fun to write than the actual characters, however this is less frequent ;)

Still good :D sticking to the basics of the original plot but of course making some interesting details of your own, I like it, very interesting and thought provoking on the relationships not just between the two main characters, but all of them

Yay genevieve, I love Alix but there's always the allure of an evil villain, of course not as the main love but as a being able to but an interesting twist in the story. I love it so far but I must sleep or I shall die, this is wonderful and I glad I don't have to wait for the updates, I don't think I'd be able to take it XD

Somehow I couldn't help but imagine what it would have looked like to see monsieur darque (spelling, lazy ass spelling) flirting with gaston, I'm sure that would never happe nbut I got a laughout of it XD I liked the you look so stupid line, very well placed :D

AWEEEEEEEEEE FLUFFFFFFF perfect moment for it with the hands holding and the snow fight XD gah cant contain the cuteness, but all that aside this is still a wonderfully gramatically and masterfully awesome piece of work... (the awkward moment when you spell gramatically wrong and you're just too lazy to search the spelling on google-_-)

Very nice especially the last sentence, it definitely spoke a kind of hope, and sweet if I can get away with saying so, and you definitely go about the right way of addressing all the reasons why he stays why she allows him to stay and how they can begin to communicate, it's a slow ad daunting process for a writer to create actual relationships but the way you do it is very smooth and subtle. Great work :D

I don't know if I've mentioned this or not but I love this fanfic, it's very interesting and I have no want to skip over any parts, it's all interesting and funny and a bit of fluff every once in a while (which is a good thing to me, I don't count fluff as bad:D)

Ger does tend to lose track of his mind doesn't he... it's actually a bit funny because he's a little scatter brained like maurice in that sense where belle really wasn't at all
