Great characterization - smooth and clear for us. I especially enjoyed the way you have had everyone bond so well: your vehicle of using the rings was very ingenious: Jarod to MP, the two to Jem, and the quote goes back to Catherine - so if the Centre becomes involved, it will difficult for the Centre to track/understand. Liked Jem's great insight into his parents and their behaviors/relationship. The colonel did such a stupid thing by having the other guy say he was dead and having him also wear a wire. Serves him right that Jarod and Jem allowed MP to really deck the guy! No so sure about the colonel anymore - but the Major, Jarod, MP, and Jem will totally check it out. Glad to see close relationships of the Major, Jarod, MP, and Jem. I eagerly await more. Hope that the plan is about to go forward and that the colonel comes 100% clean - of he will suffer the consequences. Thanks for sharing!

The story you weave is complicated, you allow your characters to grow but you show it as slow and sometimes difficult. The Centre is ever looming and its shadow still throws monsters into their plans.

I liked that the changes are slow. You put time into the descriptions. For the most part you capture the island affects and its beauty on the family while still moving the story forward, albeit slowly.

You torture us with the upcoming adventure! I hope it lives up to all the detail and description leading up to it.

I think I'd like to go to Bermuda just to see how close you are in your descriptions. You could work as their tourist guide.

Nice long chapters take a while to write, hopefully you will have the next one very soon.

Another great chapter .. I esp liked the conversation between MP and Jem, as they walked on the beach. You obvioiusly put a lot of research into the area that this island is located and it shows - from the birds to the color of the beach to the "green flash" - you are definitely giving the reader a complete picture of the setting. Very nicely done!

I'm looking to see how the adventure goes with the next chapter, not that I doubt your writing, just anxious to see how it all plays out. I like how Parker gets back into her take charge mode with finding out info from Broots and Sydney.

What a great chapter! Thanks so much. I am impressed by how each shows considerable love and care and concern for all the others. Jarod felt pain when MP rejected his marriage proposal - so I am very glad that she reconsidered and then you shared a glorious wedding with us. It seemed just perfect. But MP has very serious reservations about the Berby and the Centre. I know that you will inform us in due time, but it is a scary thing knowing that they are going to go forward in a battle to the death and she - with her very reliable intitution - has severe reservations. Sydney and Broots are their good and reliable selves. The family is just about perfect - except that they must rescue their baby - and then everything will be complete. I wish them the very best. Thanks for your very insightful writing. Wanting more!
