Very good story. Are you going to continue it? I hope so. Anything with Deck in it gets my attention, especially when he's not portrayed as the heartless bad guy.

A little short, but fascinating. One question though, isn't Lydecker no longer in command of any troops and on his own with nothing to rely on but his own wits?

Somehow I can't imagine Lydecker planning to leave the X5's alone after taking down Manticore, but the rest of this was good. I especially like the idea of Lydecker wanting Eyes Only to find his wife's killer; I can only imagine the fate that would befall the killer when Lydecker finds him 25 years after the murder.)
