This is amazing storytelling you have right here, and I absolutely love LOVE your corellations with the canon show, and how you've made them fit into a modern setting. I know I shouldn't ask this question, but who is Azula's target? Is it Zuko? (fangirl here, sorry) Or someone else? He's going to fight her at some point right? RIGHT! It must happen! Well n e ways, kudos for the great start to an epic story, and continue as soon as you can

Canada Cowboy 2008-05-05 ch 5,	abuseThat opening scene resembled somethign out of "The Departed" where the mole and his superior are exchanging info. I love the fact that you have Piandao as Sokka's captain, and I'm hoping to see more of him. The Sokka-Zuko similarities seem to strike a type of brotherly relationship between them, despite the uneasiness Zuko feels towards Sokka. This is pretty different from the show, where Sokka seems to be more accepting of Zuko as time went on (after "Day of Black Sun", that is). And Azula being the quite assassin is totally different from the show too, because in the show, she's anything but subtle, so I'd like to see what else you could do with this trend. And BTW, when's Aang going to show up? You aren't going to have an Avatar fic without him, right? Anyway, best of luck for your VERY busy schedule coming up and hope you update soon.
Raawiyah 2008-05-05 ch 2,	abusefantastic the amount of work you out into this is amazing. The story is well written and deeply engaging. The characters fit their modern tasks while being very IC. Your descriptions of ceremony and ritual are fantastic. This is very good stuff.

I'm glad Sokka wasn't stupid enough to try to hide Katara's relationship to him, and preempting suspicion by admitting he didn't want her involved was extraordinarily clever, actually. Zuko's backstory on his scar was interesting, but it doesn't explain why he had to leave Japan. Having Arnook on the "wrong" side is an odd twist as well. Clearly this is not going to be a "good guy/bad guy" story, but what kind of story is it, anyway? Thanks for updating.

Canada Cowboy 2008-03-16 ch 4,	abuseSo we got the siblings thing going on, with Sokka running into Katara as a nurse in the hospital (kind of an appropriate occupation for her), and a mention of Azula at the end of the chapter. I liked how you reversed their roles, with Zuko being patronized by Ozai (due to patriarchy) and Azula being the outcast. I thought that was pretty creative. Again, all characters are very in-character, which goes to show that you've put in a lot of work into this chapter, and I must say it's paying dividends. Still waiting to see Aang though, so keep the chapters coming soon!

If only you hadn't killed off Lu Ten, lol. It's wonderful! Please, please, keep on writing it, I think it has become one of my top-ten favourite in-progress stories on this site!
