Ok, now...
I still can't interpret the whole of it. Either because I just woke up or because it's much too dark for me, thought I've gotten dark before. I did get the general idea of Wonka being evil and wanting to turn Charlie the same as him.
Not just dark, very cold. Cold enough to repel. Or at least me. And your closing line even more. "After all, it is X Mass." That was strong...that was very strong.
But this is good for this story. It -hits- you just the right way, the intended way. Now I wonder about whatever sprung it in that little head of yours.
