Great story! I just hope you eventually plan on finishing it! I love the scenes with Gaara playing with the children and to a lesser degree (as to a lesser degree you have showed Naruto playing with children as it is more believable that Naruto would do so).

I just want to say that I'm not really one to review. In fact, I hardly review stories at all. However, if figure that if I leave you a review, it might inspire you to write more and to continue on with this story. So, because I am reviewing, I might as well do it right. I'll review the entire story, so you'll have to deal with a ridiculusly long review. Just deal with it.
I loved how you started the begining, even though there is a spelling mistake in the first sentence. I love the characters Naruto and Gaara and I have searched for a fic that complements their character and the relationship between them and really this fic does the best so far. The little funnies that you put them through this chapter just draws me in, like for instance when describing Gaara and how powerful he is then saying he was drooling on his desk all in the same sentence was perfect. It made me giggle. The way you narrate gives off the perfice amount of rivalry yet friendship, just the way I had pictured the relationship between Gaara and Naruto. My favorite scene would have to be Gaara playing.
Overall you are doing what very few people can. You are character building on already complex characters, and you are doing it in a way that grabs people's attention and say "yeah, you know, this seems like this could happen if these characters where in this situation."
Please continue. This plot is totally unique and to good to just quit. As a fellow reviewer said, in so many words, Naruto and Gaara go back not to just do everything over but to gain some of those things that they had missed ot the first time around. I can predict that the demans start to make things difficult to add plot.
As you can see I have so much more to say, but It seems like I just don't have time to say all that I want to. Hince why I don't review that much. Just please put out a new chapter soon, or something that lets us know your alive at least.

This is actually one of the better time travel fictions I've read. A lot less 'super naruto goes back and fixes every problem' and a bit more 'naruto goes back and... well just enjoys the fact he's gone back in time'.

Also the fact your not trying to pair up everyone or pour on the hate on a charecter is reliving. It makes the whole thing a lot more relaxed and natrual, and way more fun to read.
Plus the added perspective of gaara is a intresting one. It's something I haven't really seen explored before. You've balanced out the action beetween them quite nicely. It's good.

Although, the point of going through history for -fun-, I don't see. That's not the way things work; them being so old, experienced and wise should know better than to start over again. While there is fun to it, I suppose, it just shouldn't be do-able. I can't think of any better way to express my views on that. Sorry. But it just doesn't feel right, morally speaking. There is such a thing as not messing with time (that is what sci-fi teaches you-- Back to the Future, Star Trek... :))

But aside from that possibly very dumb idea, I like time travels. As I said earlier, yours is well written, a thrill to read, if only to know what's gonna happen next (or what will happen, at all). I dare hope for an eventual update?

I absolutely LOVE this story! It has been amusing in many aspects! I believe you have a very good look at the characters personalities. They way you have written their actions and reactions to things are exactly what I would exspect Kishimoto-san would write! I hope you update soon! I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEXT CHAPTER!
