Wonderfully done; I like the fact that you're taking a different spin on this scenario, that Jason simply can't give Nikki what she wants (although I've always been violently opposed to the Jason/Nikki pairing, so perhaps that's why). In any case, very in character and well written.

Whiz! You know I loves you to pieces and pieces a thousand times over, but this is quite well done! You really captured Bourne's "Hi, My name is Asshole, pardon me while I rub lemon juice into that paper cut of yours" attitude. Let's face it, he can be a real jerk, and not without good reason. I love your style of writing, and I think you did a great job with the present tense. It was quite effective, and continually reminded the reader that Bourne really must live in the now, as he has no past to look to. Very nice! YAY YOU!
