Wow. That was kind of...creepy. Insane Itachi is quite scary really. But interesting.

Whoa. -shudder- That was really good. Very disturbing. You somehow kept Itachi IC while making it clear he was losing his mind. Nicely done.

Schizo Itachi is hilarious! The ending was a complete surprise - poor Kisame, I bet he wishes he had a different partner. My favorite lines-

"Two months later, he caught himself staring at a couple with two sons eating across the restaurant from where he and Kisame were waiting for their own meal, and turned away. Kisame, who Itachi had not told much beyond the absolutely necessary about his back story, looked at him curiously. “Is something wrong, Itachi-san?”

Itachi shook his head. “No.” And it was true."

I also loved the format the story was in, it pulled the whole thing together. Awesome job!

This is insane! No, Itachi is isane! So good, all these little snippets fit together so nicely and there's that nifty echo of Itachi looking down at his corpsified relatives. And the twist at the end, very funny and demented. The conversation at the end made me smile.
