Really really please updated! this oh so fabulous awesome great and cool story need to be updated please?!

A lot of the changes made in the dub are made to comply with FCC regulations, not just because 4Kids has an obsession with changing things. The FCC places a lot of restrictions on morning cartoons aimed at children, like no blood, no mention of death or killing, etc. While there's no denying that 4Kids changes a lot of unnecessary things, many of the edits they make are things they have to change because American regulations on cartoons are stricter than Japanese regulations.

Also, don't blame 4Kids for changing card names (like Bloo-D to Plasma) because that's 100% Konami. 4Kids actually usually uses a card's original name in the rare case that they aren't told the English name for it (for example, in episode 2 of the original series they called the Celtic Guardian by its Japanese name, the Elf Swordsman). Maybe you knew all this already, but I figured I'd say it because I see a lot of people on fansites complain about the dub without knowing the reasoning behind a lot of the changes. That's not to say 4Kids is a good dubbing company (they still needlessly butcher a lot of things), but many of the changes that are made are things they have no control over, so it's not really fair to blame them for everything. I only say this because you made a few snide comments about the dub in your notes, and I thought you might not know that some of the changes that are made aren't done just because the dubbers feel like it. As a side note, although most of the name changes in the dub are just to "Americanize" the show, the name Sartorius is actually a pun, because "sartori" refers to a spiritual awakening.

That said, the story itself is very well written. This is normally where I'd provide constructive criticism, but there aren't really any notable flaws in your writing to point out. I do think you should watch it with the opening parts, since your opening bit in chapter six borders on being anti-religion hate speech and, even though it's a work of fiction, the real world connotations of that section could easily offend a lot of people. If you have anti-religious views (and I'm not saying you do, although reading the aforementioned section makes it sound to the reader like you do) it would be best to keep them out of your writing. At any rate, aside from what I've noted your story is excellent, and I'll be looking forward to your next update.

Atticus has always been my favorite character, I couldn't help crying as I read this, nevertheless a great story. Are you going to write another chapter?
