Kurinju-sama 4/16/12 . chapter 8Love to law order/svu shout-out! Plus, those are probably a couple of the most interesting mysterious cronies I've seen yet! |
Kurinju-sama 4/14/12 . chapter 2OMG! I totally sqeed when I noticed the Cold Comfort Farm reference! Something nasty in the woodshed. Sigh, I love that book/movie) |
 Spirit-hime 11/24/11 . chapter 1Please oh please
someday
can you conclude this fic.
I still recommend it to everyone I know. It's still one of the most influential fics I've ever read. You have no idea how desperately I want to know where you planned to take it from here. I don't care if it takes a decade, I will still read it. |
a fan 6/14/11 . chapter 14 Holy brilliance, Batman... I can't tell you how upset I am that there are no more chapters and have been no more chapters for a good two years. Since you haven't posted a final chapter detailing what you would have written if you hadn't got bored/tired/busy/any myriad number of reasons why authors scrap a story that is as amazing as this one I'm going to continue hoping you'll update at some point in the future with a great, new chapter that is nice and plotty.
I think my only complaint is that it spends too much time on Haruka and or Michiru, but then again they're my least favourite characters, so, that's pretty much my bias. I love how realistically teenager Hotaru is, and how much of a focus there is on Ami, who I've always had a soft spot for. And despite knowing jack squat about Homicide, it doesn't detract at all in fact I think it adds to Jason's mystery. By the way, speaking of whom, I sincerely hope he'll ignore Taiyouko and date Makoto anyway. Jadeite/Jupiter is definitely a first for me and I love it to bits. (Comically, it also makes me realise how much of team bicycle that guy is I've seen him paired now with every senshi except Uranus or Neptune. I wonder why we think of Jadeite as so easy to pair off) I especially love more than anything the lack of typical Senshi/Shitennou pairs; they get pretty stale after awhile and I find it difficult to believe in twu wuv soulmates for one couple who carry over to future lives, even with all the magic in SM, let alone for five couples. Not to mention the Zoisite-Kunzite issue, which I thought was here handled spectacularly.
Anyway long story short I love everything about this, and I really hope you'll continue, and not just so that I can read about Jadeite being Mamoru's best man and dating someone other than Mars, which is totally my theory about the prologue which may or may not be the case, but also because this is a brilliant story with a super fantastic plot and really well-written, intelligent characters. (Pretty please continue it?) |
Chuni Luni 5/18/11 . chapter 16Dude why is Mother framing Darien?
Any ways please update when ya can! |
Chuni Luni 5/16/11 . chapter 6So far this is really nice. Though I am a bit confused because I don't know Homicide. I'm gonna keep reading. Erm...after I get some sleep though since it's almost three in the morning. |
Jillian 3/19/11 . chapter 16 I'm liking this. I'm a little confused because I've only seen a few badly dubbed series but I look forward to seeing what kind of picture all those connections form. Please update soon. |
A Fan 3/2/11 . chapter 16 I wonder if this story has been abandoned...what a shame if it is. Fantastic story though. |
ElaiisTaiE 9/22/10 . chapter 16I was totally drawn into this and that's rare. Please keep up the good work. |
Lalaith Yamainu 8/31/10 . chapter 16I do hope you continue, as I'd like to see the end of this (and if my theories are right!).
My one and only qualm with this story is that there's way too much crossover it's over now, I assume, but way too much of Jason's background had me bored, confused and frustrated. There wasn't really enough crossover to be a true crossover, but to the average Sailor Moon fan it was incredibly tedious too many names I was unfamiliar with and not enough explanation as to why I was having to read it. It didn't seem to have any bearing on the story like you were throwing names and summaries in there just to throw names and summaries in there. I got close to stopping the story entirely several times.
Other than that, I love this. The build up is wonderful, the characterization superb (even if I want to KILL Michiru... remember the LAST time you were this sure about something? Yeah, that little girl calls you "Mama" now!). Having the Shitennou around with out it being a Shitennou/Senshi fic is a first for me (Makoto and Jadeite? That has to be a first!).
My current pet theories are that "Mother" is the "Necessity" lady of the Euro-whatsit Sun people, and that our lovely detective is "Justice". Mother terrifies me. She sounds entirely to like someone working for... I dunno, Aushwitz or something. Rationalizing terrible things as "necessary sacrifices for a perfect future".
And Mamoru? Someone needs to get that poor boy in therapy. I, myself have experienced the brain's wonderful ability to know and not know, the way it changes the subject every time you nearly stumble upon a thought, the way you wander in a daze until everything gets put back in their safe little compartments. I had a breakdown when I was finally forced to confront what I knew, which sure as hell wasn't that my parents had been murdered by someone I apparently trusted (and may have called "Aunty").
He's in for a heck of a wake up call, and it won't be pleasant.
Anywho, hope to read the rest soon! |
Lalaith Yamainu 8/30/10 . chapter 3I am absolutely on edge to find out who Detective chick really is! Supernatural good aim? Bloodthristy monster in her head? Crazy emotions where Mamoru is involved?
Not good signs that she's a perfectly normal Tokyo citizen. |
Lalaith Yamainu 8/30/10 . chapter 2Ooh... past lives coming into play. Herne the Hunter? The fire claiming Rei? Michiru dreaming of the ocean?
And how will Mamoru react when he finds out the way his parents died not an accident at all?*bounces excitedly* |
Lalaith Yamainu 8/30/10 . chapter 1I usually have a vow not to read anything incomplete. But I adore your other stories, and I wanted to see more of your Setsuna, and so I took a tiny, tiny peek...
You had me at the murder. I literally spent most of this chapter bouncing in my seat in excitement. I know it's been a year and a half since you updated, so pardon a poor fan's hope that a new set of reviews will encourage you to update! And I hope at least some of the mysteries are solved before I come to the end.
You mentioned the generals, so I take it Jason is Jadeite? A general investigating Mamoru's parents deaths oh goody!
I'm completely lost as to the girl on the balcony though... Sailor Sun? A new enemy? Wait and see, I suppose! |
MissGriffin 2/16/10 . chapter 13I absolutely adore this story. It's the most intricate S.M. fanfic I've ever read, with all sorts of tantalizing hints and clues woven through the plot. I can't wait to see how you tie up all the threads in the end.
My favorite part is trying to find all the clues and figure out everything. I just read it a second time over and found a bunch of stuff I missed the first time.
Really looking forward to the next chapter! Keep writing!

Wolfen Dreams 1/30/10 . chapter 16Well, for all I fail for figure out many things, I can still squiggle in pride over the occasional thing I did figure out. I've known the mark was somehow related to Nephrite for two or three chapters. It was such an exciting moment when I found out I was right that I don't even care that I don't understand eighty or ninety percent of what's going on.
Though I don't know if it will matter in the long run, I feel I should tell you how much I love the bits about the Russian Revolution. I've recently developed a fascination with Russian history, so its fun for me.
The picture frame symbolizes something. I don't know what. Probably something to do with the inchangability of history (Made up fail word!). The egg probably is like, mystically atuned to Usagi and will open when she hits some sort of epiphany. That's the best I can come up with, at least.
I feel like people are trying to kill Mamoru. This worries me.
Anyway, you've got a pretty good story on your hands! Hope to see an update soon! |
