With Mai HiME Ryou I totally liked how you turned a fantasy series into an interesting sci-fi story, giving some believable explanation and insight on how Otome were created, and about the political scenario behind the War of the Twelve Kings. It was about time to have a story like this.
While in this story I appreciate one how you stay consistent to your own canon and to the canon of the series, and how you don't dwell on the magic to explain what in Mai Otome was frankly quite absurd (in a sense, the whole series was a long technobabble galore), but you always try to find the most logical explanation. Oh, and all the new characters are great, especially Wataru. :-) Good job and *on alert*.
