Tessie, how DO you do it? It seems impossible for me to come across a fic of yours I dislike! Not that I'm trying, of course... :) That was so sweet! Though, the nickname "Score" does rather make me shudder, but that one is clearly Draco's fault, not yours. Did I read that right that Draco married a squib or possibly even a muggle? :) And that last bit with "St. Nick," quite brilliant. Thank you, thank you, thank you! :D Happy belated Christmas!

Your making Teddy Lupin the link between the Malfroys and the Potters is probably something you should continue to do for future post Hallow fics.

And your depiction of Score (Like the nickname much better than Rowling's Scorpius--blah--)was a very interesting take on a Malfroy offspring...not at all how I expected a son of Draco to be, but it was very believable.

And Scorpius being part muggle? Very, very interesting...I'd be interested in reading the background story on Elizabeth and Draco, if you have any.

And the way you ended the one-shot? Perfect.

Looking forward to more post Deathly Hallow fics, if you have any in the works.

Okay, so I've been in a weird fanfic mood lately... I've been reading George/Hermione. No idea why. I know it's random, but I've become a little obsessed. Anyway, I pretty much read all the good ones that I could find here on good ones being the ones that aren't too cliche or badly written- I hate it when they just throw Ron to the side like he never existed! But I digress... As I was saying, I read up all the good ones and I was trying to think of something else to read when I realized that -- Shock! Horror! -- I hadn't read your Christmas fic yet! I hadn't even looked for it! I mean, I knew that it just HAD to exist (How horrible of a year would that be, if you didn't write a Christmas fic? I think I would die of heartbreak!)... so I looked it up. And imagine my complete joy when I found that it was a POST DH Christmas fic! With Second Generation! YAY!
I LOVED the Score/Lily subplot thingy, and Healer-who-married-a-muggle-and-is-now-a-good-daddy!Draco was awesome :)
And Teddy was great, too- I love it when he is friendly with the Malfoys and Harry doesn't really know about it... that just seems like what would happen in the real life world of Harry Potter.
Okay, so I decided to make this a long review because I know you enjoy them (what author wouldn't?) and I haven't reviewed one of your stories in a while. I think I'll re-read Bend It so I can remember what happens (it's been a while) and then I'll read the updates, cuz I know you've posted since the last time I read it. I just realized that this review kinda jumps from topic to topic- it's not exactly organized. Story of my life. Anyway, here are some fave lines:

“You and my dad didn’t get on because your were jealous of each other,” Scorpius said. “He couldn’t stand that you apparently had everything he wanted.” Scorpius looked sharply at him. “And you couldn’t stand that he took everything he actually had for granted.”

“Dad, I can explain,” Scorpius said quickly. “I was abducted.”

(HAHAHAHAHA!)


Harry thought about his godson’s abilities and how he could have been the greatest Auror of his generation, maybe even an Unspeakable.
Instead, he was in culinary school and Harry could sleep at night, knowing he was at home making soufflés instead of out risking his life fighting the forces of evil.

(Aw, Harry is such a good father figure!)

Aw that was so good! I really, really love that you showed the interaction between the Potters and the Malfoys. It has a kind of satisfying resolution that I never felt from the books. I love it. And the kids were cute of course.
One thing though... why does Harry say that he'll never trust Narcissa? I know that he doesn't like her, but I sort of thought a bit of his hatred got resolved when she helped him in the forest in the 7th book. I'm just wondering if you have more reasoning for it that I'm just not seeing.
