Excellent job with all the characters. Great story.

One observation; some of the Spanish stuff can't be translated literally. For example; 'colgar', hanging, is only used when you talk about hanging your clothing, or you're hanging from a tree, or stuff like that, not for spending time in a place or with a friend. Also, a female friend is called 'amiga'; most Spanish words add an 'a' or change the last letter to an 'a' to designate a female. Finally, a few words that are actually well used aren't normal in regular conversation; for example, 'permanezcamos' is too formal; you say 'quedemonos' instead.

Keep the good writing and Happy Holidays.

That was fun. Really long for one chapter but fun. Even though I don't understand a word of spanish I liked your use of it. It was kind of like in the Ocean's 11 planning session where the little Chinese guy spouts some high speed chinese of some variety and Brad Pitt's character responds at a natural pace in english as if everyone understands chinese.

Oh my God, I laughed so frickin' hard. Fabulous story, Babs. Loved it. And you know you have to write the scene at the coffee maker in the morning, right? (Even if you just show it to me. :D) Should be around tomorrow to chat if you're on. :)

Sheesh, that was long. But I enjoyed it. Very nice reminder of what the Christmas season is about. Thanks! =D
