acosta perez jose ramiro 2007-12-25 . chapter 1Excellent job with all the characters. Great story.
One observation; some of the Spanish stuff can't be translated literally. For example; 'colgar', hanging, is only used when you talk about hanging your clothing, or you're hanging from a tree, or stuff like that, not for spending time in a place or with a friend. Also, a female friend is called 'amiga'; most Spanish words add an 'a' or change the last letter to an 'a' to designate a female. Finally, a few words that are actually well used aren't normal in regular conversation; for example, 'permanezcamos' is too formal; you say 'quedemonos' instead.
Keep the good writing and Happy Holidays. |
AshCarroll aka ShadowDiva 2007-12-25 . chapter 1Oh my God, I laughed so frickin' hard. Fabulous story, Babs. Loved it. And you know you have to write the scene at the coffee maker in the morning, right? (Even if you just show it to me. :D) Should be around tomorrow to chat if you're on. :) |
